You just made up my mind, brother! I really appreciate the last few videos of years I’ve watched. In November I’m buying a new board, but I was having a hard time deciding between the GT and the GTS. This last video you definitely nailed it for me. I do not want to give up range over everything else. Appreciate it.!!

For the S series I say I’m happy with my GT. I would benefit from more power cause I am a Clydesdale rider like Jeff’s calls us. But my GT handles me just fine. It sucks Bodhi left tfl, hopefully it was a clean break. TFL 4 LIFE.

Man one thing for sure, skate shoes have saved my toes countless times. As comfortable as running shoes are, they don’t have the proper toe protection for me. That being said, I have FP insoles in my vans rn and they are my go to when riding my wheel 🤙 lovin the videos

Thank you my friend. The runners kinda work better for me because if I do come off the board I’m trying to go straight into a sprint. That being said last fall I had I did run it out but I still ended up hurt my knee and my heel 🤷🏾‍♂️ I don’t know if the skate shoes would’ve made a difference. I’m sticking with em though. Gotta give em a real chance. N I do like the look too.

I definitely like range over power I spent the extra for the gt for its range I am a small guy and only weigh 115 lbs I don’t race just cruise around so for me the extra power of the gts isn’t really needed I hope future motion will come out with a long range version of the gts and then I will be very interested in upgrading especially if they could 40 or more miles of range I just fear it will be even more expensive

They’re called FP Footwear. Based out of California. I think I’ll try a few other kinds too. Like the barefoot shoes should be nice. Have you stepped on the board without shoes? It feels crazy good. Not the smartest thing but just to try it for a block or two is awesome 😎

👍👍, I just can’t accept buying either gt or gt-s at those prices without being able to replace my own battery and electronics when they go out (without bricking board like FM does) which could be anytime with PEV vibration abuse and wear, keep enjoying the float life man another good video

Another fun ride-along video! Thanks for your insight on the 'S". I was starting to get the itch to pull the trigger on it but after several great recent rides on my GT I'm holding off for now. I like the range. So how low will you let your charge go on the GT before you feel like you're entering the 'danger zone' for a nosedive?

Thank you my friend!! Lowest I’ve gone is about 15 percent. They say under 20 and it starts to get a little wonky. I think you just have to really slow down at that point. But I keep mine pretty charged up. Even when I do my longer floats I charge up pretty often just because there’s not a lot of places I can go. I have to get charged when I can. GT is a great board. I’m with you. I don’t need the speed. It was nice to test out but that’s far as I go with that. Thank you for watching 🙌🏾🏄🏾‍♂️

Surfing since I was a small kid, now Onewheeling at 68yrs young. I've never ridden over 21mph so the speed of the S isn't a big deal for me. I like your speculation that a future board might have a little more speed than the GT, but more range than the 'S'. Seems like it would make sense. 👍🏻

As far as shoes I’d recommend a MTB flats shoe, little more support than skater shoes. Or you could do what I did and go the barefoot shoe route, nothing gives you more control and board feel than a barefoot shoe.

Barefoot. No shoe 😂 have you tried it. I do it every now and then. Not for long but around the block. It feels absolutely amazing 🤩 matter gonna do it now. I’m looking into barefoot shoes now. Definitely grabbing a pair. I know it’s gonna take some getting used to but I’m sure it’ll feel great 🙌🏾

Thank you my friend. Definitely love the way I have my board setup. The enduro tire was a game changer for me. So soft and grippy. Some people love the Goat tire. Some the street pro. For me it’s always gonna be enduro. Just ordered 1 for the pint x. I would definitely suggest it 🙌🏾

GOAT tire is the best 6.5 tire, I’ve had the enduro for over 3k miles, and confidently say the Goat is more nimble and better for trails and street all day

I haven’t liked it so far. It may be the tire pressure though. I’ve only ridden it at 18. I keep the enduro at about the same 12 so it’s smooth. Maybe I’ll grab 1 just to play with.

Man, you don't know range anxiety until you own an XR. I'll be happy with the GT-S. Regardless, any OW range is not the best. If you want to float and cruise, then range should be the last thing on your mind. Just bring your fast charger. If you want range and speed, then EUC or E-Board is the way to go.

Range is big for me as there aren’t many places to charge throughout the Florida Keys and I like to go far. I hate carrying the fast charger but when I do long floats I do bring it. To go up and have your board die would be hell. Just be stranded in the middle of nowhere until your ride comes. I’m lucky enough to have shot video for most of the restaurants here and most of the owners let me charge up at their spots. Not saying I wouldn’t be happy with the GTS but I wouldn’t trade the range for the speed. Some people say it’s now a huge difference but I have heard some people run the battery dead. The GT is my baby. Felt a little slow after riding the GTS but I’m back to normal now. You riding XR? What’s your range?

In a way my guy that’s true. Grown man 💩 got bills to pay. But for the fans homie it’s kinda needed. Otherwise people will make assumptions. Like a lot were doing including myself. He didn’t have but I’m glad he did. I was looking at like he 💩 on his brothers for a ✔️ but it was more to it and I definitely understand his choice. Think about if me and you were making videos together for 5 years and then we making a video upsetting the powers that be. Then the powers that be hire me and shun you. How would you feel? Were we like brothers or was it just business?

For real. I’m seeing people with 13 mile range 🤦🏾‍♂️ what the heck is that. For me these machines are all about adventure. 13 miles would not do it for me. I had to venture off and grab a EUC instead of another board.

@therealbergexperience5640 Im a bigger guy with an XR, and I can get more than 13 in my neighborhood. I bought an EUC shortly after I bought the XR. It totally changed my extracurricular activities.
