Own two Thor’s; 2022 class-a gas and a 2025 class-a diesel (current), virtually no quality issues. Disclaimer, every RV has issues, even $1M+ models, Thor has improved their quality control over the years (do your research). It’s all about which RV is a perfect fit for you and your Family. Our preference is Thor floor plans as they are the only floor plans that fit our needs. I researched most all manufacturers, again do your research. Btw, Matt et. al. is a great resource and will always be honest with potential buyers.

Hi Matt and Wil! My dislikes are the power cord nit on a power wheel, the extra counter top space. My likes are the bedroom get a washer and dryer. Like the bathroom. And theater seats. The front desk in front on passenger side. Thank you Matt and Wil!

My dislike (just teasing him) is Matt continuously putting his sneakers on the furniture! He crosses one leg under his bum when he sits so his shoe rubs against the inside of the couches! I doubt he even realizes he’s doing it. My mom used to do the same thing 😂! Anyway, this is a camper that I would love to own. I like the bigger cabinets, and lots of drawers. Very nice!😊

Actually Jen, the tv show is "Maude" from the 70's. Bea Arthur and Rue McClanahan starred in it well before "The Golden Girls". How do I know? Conrad Bain (Mr. Drummond, dad from Different Strokes) is the episode.

First issue is it's a Thor and the second is this is the low end very entry level diesel pusher. When we were looking at DP's in 2023, we looked at a Thor Palazzo and were amazed how Thor would build anything that poorly as you can see in this video, the poor craftsmanship. We ended up with a Newmar Ventana and love it.

As an RV user and a previous Traeger+ user, I have to say that switching to Asmoke has been a game-changer for our outings. The flavor that Asmoke imparts to our food is unbeatable, and the variety of wood pellet flavors available only adds to the experience. But what really sets it apart for me is the precise temperature control. With Asmoke, I can set it and forget it, knowing that my food will cook evenly and consistently, no matter what. The portability and battery life also make it perfect for our RV trips. We've even used it for tailgating! Overall, Asmoke has enhanced our outdoor cooking experience and I can't recommend it enough. #Asmoke

To start in the outside storage you can see whatever they lined the inside of the compartments with is bubbling already. How long before it cracks & delaminates ? The cutting board/counter extension with a hole directly over the drawer so if you use it as a cutting board it will A: leak into the drawer or B: leak onto the floor. Correct me if I’m wrong but is this the first Thor review where it did not have a $156 dollar trash can under the sink in. Can’t use the bed In travel mode/boon docking without the slide out.

Great Price Matt and Will, nice to start seeing normal pricing again. Just mark everything back to 2019 prices plus normal 2% inflation for 5 years and you will start selling units again. This is absolutely one of the best deals I've seen on your channel in years. The problem is even at that price the financing will make it tough for most.

@RemyRAD
@RemyRAD 4 ай бұрын
This is a great video. If I had $199,999. I would definitely consider this purchase. But I don't. I never will. I never have. I am not flushed like that. My money was flushed. So I had to settle for a 22-year-old,,, 34 foot, rare, diesel pusher by Monaco. I got my, Knight. In shining gelcoat. For, $25,000. With 65,100 miles on the odometer. Everything in like new condition and all 100% stock. Nothing really worn out. Some intermittent switches. And for 22 years old. That ain't bad.. Though I haven't really taken it on the road for any length yet. Thanks to KZbin. I purchased this Monaco. It's something I always wanted. Something I knew I could never afford. But when they are this old. Their value drops tremendously. And if you find the right person. With the right vehicle. As I purchased it from an elderly couple. That had to hang up the, Motorhome. After their last timeout in January. After having it inspected. And new tires all around. I felt bad for them. They knew they were at the end of their lives. He was 88. She was 85. They were having medical issues. And lifelong campers. Like I have been. And so my parents fault. That I love camping so much. And so now. As I clean out and close down the house. And sell everything off. I become House less. As we have only been leasing for the past eight years. My lease is up. I cannot sustain this huge house. I don't want to stay in Texas anymore. I've had enough of Texas and Texans. They are not good Americans. They are scumbag Americans. And I need to divorce myself of them. Now that my younger brother has died. Now that my 100-year-old mother is in hospice care. I'm done. I am now Officially Retired. And forever more. In a Monaco Knight,, 34 foot long, rare, short, diesel pusher. With this simply great generator. I will be hitting the road within the next 4 weeks or less. I can hardly wait. RemyRAD

To be certain. I will take advantage of those, BLM, LTVA locations. 7 months for under $300 rent? Yes. I am self-contained. I'll be able to sock away a few bucks. For repairs. I know will be coming. So I'm not going to be doing a lot of sightseeing right off. I'm going to do a lot of hunkering down.. And I want to visit this other wacky place called, Slab City, California. That looks like my kind of weirdness, perhaps? Let's see what fun things I can organize, there? I want to do some rock 'n' roll shows. Though I am not a musician myself. I just Produce the Shows. And record them, broadcast them. Stream them. I get wild results with next to nothing. It's from 20 years working for a major, Television & Radio Network. When you have to get something on the air. You get it. On the air. Even rock band set ups. The take less than 10 minutes time. And still sound like a major Network Television Special. As that's the only way I know how to deliver. And it's actually easy for me. I've got some plans. I may organize a KZbin channel of my own. And as I go from city to city. I shall stop in. At a local bar. That has live music. And I'll say hey. I've got a KZbin channel. Let me set up a few things. You'll get a free recording. This could put you on the map. The way I Produce it. Which is really easy. When you don't have 65,000 screaming fans. And connected to the MTV satellite uplink truck. Those jobs get kind of complicated. Kind of massive. I think I'm done doing those kinds of jobs. Smaller ones sound a lot easier and more fun. Sometimes it might just be a singer with a guitar. Other times could be a 6 or more piece band. And I catch everybody Live. No studio trickery used. It's RAW, talent. And come what may. I was make everybody sound great. Because I pretend I'm still on the Television Network coast-to-coast. When I Engineer. So it would be a nice musical KZbin channel. And if they do cover songs. I shall pay the, publishing royalties. Which are very affordable. So it doesn't get cut by KZbin. I want this to be on the up and up. A real production. Because I'm going to want to get Sponsors. And brought to you by…… SHURE Brothers Microphones. Nowhere to stick your microphone. And by…… JBL Speakers. When you want to blow out. Blow out right with JBL Speakers. And so on and so forth. That will fund the channel. So I don't have to. I repurchased all the damned equipment. Multiple cameras. Video switchers. Audio Mixers. Microphones. Lots and lots of cables. 250 foot long, multiconductor state cables. 20 inputs each. I have 2 of those. So I can take a few more inputs. But will likely only need one, multiconductor snake cable. 20 inputs is generally enough for a small band. I've got like 10 some cameras. But only, two. 4 input video switchers. And a couple of sub switchers. To get all 10 into the video switchers. One will be heavy with the effects. The other will be straighter shots. And a killer sounding Audio Track. Each and every time. Nothing sounds like beginner nonsense. Nothing sounds amateur hour. It sounds like the NBC-TV Network. It's the only way I know how to do it. And it's easy, simple, fast. When you have 40+ years experience, doing it. And since I'm now tired and old at nearly 69. At least I can do it in my sleep. As it's fun to do it in my sleep. Because then I get to watch what I did. The following day. And enjoy the show. As I may hardly remember doing it? Is there is no reason to do rock 'n' roll recording, sober. What kind of a job do you think this is? It was not designed for, sober. It's rock 'n' roll. Or could be Jazz. I've done a lot of Jazz over the years. I love Jazz. All sorts. Though I prefer the Contemporary Jazz, best. Not so much that frenetic,, straightahead Jazz.. Which I do appreciate. I do not seek it out. But I enjoy recording it. Gospel can also be fun. With a good rock band accompaniment. I enjoy doing those. And I may likely do some more? They are always so very nice to work with. Lots of gentlemen. Lots of ladies. Frequently little kids abound. Always very cute. They never bother me. Sometimes. I might pop one. In my chair behind my audio console. And instruct them. To move a volume control when I tell them. And give them a thrill. Yes you just did that on the air. You are an official Engineer. They love it. I love doing it. I've corrupted a lot of youngsters that way. They probably work in Broadcasting now? The same thing actually happened to me. My daddy used to produce TV commercials and a church program. At our local TV stations in Detroit. And he would take me down there. To the TV stations. And when he produces church program on Saturday morning. They told him. He would have to be done at 11 AM sharp. Why? All of the TV technicians. They wanted to watch the Bugs Bunny Roadrunne Hour. Coming down the CBS-TV network lines. At they wanted to watch it. So I never knew what my mother was screaming at me about? For watching too much television. She would scream… WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE GOING TO DO FOR A LIVING WHEN YOU GROW UP!? WATCH TELEVISION??!! It was a great idea. I went to work for NBC-TV News. I got paid to watch television. What was she screaming about? I saw these other adults doing it. And they wanted to watch Bugs Bunny ! So yeah. I became one of the Top Audio Engineers. Engineering Tom Brokaw's Nightly News on NBC-TV. And while I was doing the news. I would call down to Transmission. And ask them to put, HBO on one of the routing switchers for me. So I could watch HBO movies. While I was doing the news, coast-to-coast and on the satellite around the world. While I was watching HBO movies. Working for NBC-TV News. That's called Multitasking. And people like me are specialists in that. We get paid to watch television. LOL. So this is the life of a Real Engineer. Now retired. From a Bygone Era. We had so much fun. RemyRAD

I find that shocking at $199,999. Okay, so it's new. And all the bugs in the break-in, yet to go. For nearly $200,000. Unfortunately I've had some bad things happen to me. It has made me a pauper. One can't afford anything like that on, Social Security retirement income, alone. No can do. A pipedream. Except…… When you find a 22-year-old one. That is 100% stock and virtually like new. Only owned by, geriatric retired couples. 2 sets. And no grandchildren on board to trash,, the Motorhome. At least not with the couple I purchased it from. I asked them about that. This thing looks like brand-new. You've taken great care of it. And how many grandchildren do you have? They told me they had 14. 14!? I said this unit still looks like new. They told me. They did not have their grandchildren onboard,, their motorhome. They told me it was strictly for them. And they never had their grandchildren onboard. I thought that was so funny. I never had any kids so I don't have any grandkids, either. I thought most grandparents swooned over there grandchildren. But maybe 14 is a bit much? And so this lovely Monaco Knight, from 2002. With 65,100 miles on the odometer. Everything stock. Everything working. The generator is great. The bed has a brand-new, $400, Memory foam Mattress. From Walmart with a long warranty. Along with the included receipt. And it's brand-new. Nobody has ever used the bed. I believe I picked it up a little bit higher than bluebook at $25,000.. For a 34 foot, diesel pusher. In virtually like new condition. With 6 brand-new Toyo tires. I think I lucked out. I even love the paint scheme graphics and color. Because there isn't any. It's shades of gray, black and eggshell white. No wacky graphics. No putrid colors. It's more stealth. And only 34 feet long. So, can get into most anywhere. I really haven't had the opportunity to take it on the road yet. Since I purchased it a couple weeks ago. I'm closing down my house. Selling things off. Trying to figure out. What history of my life and my family's life I can continue to possess. I think I have to leave most of my life behind and their's. I have no one to leave it to. I didn't think this would happen. I thought my younger brother would have children. And I would have nieces and nephews.. No need for me to have children. But my brother never had children. Neither did I. We are the end of our family. My bbrother died last year. I'm the last one.. So it's difficult to sort of walk away from one's life. When you've had a fulfilling and substantial life. To just walk away from that does not feel comfortable. It's beyond odd, feeling. To know that it's all over and I'm over the hill. And what did it all mean? I don't know? Not what I thought. Not anywhere near what I thought. I'm proud of my accomplishments. I'm not happy with my situation. There is no recovery from that. I can't hack it, anymore. And I'm dealing with a lot of ignorance. From people with college degrees. I personally do not possess myself. I might still get one? Apparently geriatrics are able to go to college for free. Then sit at the back of the room. You don't get to participate. You don't get a degree. You just get to sit in on classes. Which I think I will. When I get the opportunity. It might be good to have a college degree by the time I'm 73? And then realize all of the opportunity and income I lost. Knowing that I blew it.. And there is no recovery from old age. Shit! But at least I'm, regular. With no extra help, need it. Sushi in. Sushi out. Asian buffet in. Asian buffet out. Pizza buffet in. Pizza buffet……… Later. Down but not out. As expediently. There's lots of bread and carbohydrates. But you just have to have some. You don't have to have a lot. Except at the pizza buffet. Cici's pizza. I recommend it. As you also have the Salad Bar and Pasta Bar. All the comforts of home. At Cici's pizza in Kyle, Texas. Tell them Remy sent you. And you won't get a discount. But I'm on good terms with them. I have been frequenting them for the past almost 8 years. And I stop in at least once a week. But only once a week. Have a few slices of pizza. A little bowl apart. And a great big salad. With unsweet iced tea. Fully iced. No American really understands, Iced tea. They bring you a glass full of tea. With some ice. That is not iced tea. That is tea with ice. Iced tea on the other hand. Requires that you load the tumbler. Full of ice all the way to the top. Then you pour the tea in. And it will be Iced, fully. Supercold. It's great! There is plenty of sugar in the pizza sauce.. Which is very light. And I usually get the, spinach Alfredo. With extra cheese. And a sprinkle of Italian sausage and anchovy.. And I don't pig out. So I can enjoy some pizza and pasta. Once a week. And a whole lot of veggies but not enough fruit. I love fruit. But I don't love all fruit. I really can't stand mangoes and papaya. They are just so slimy. That does not work for me. The flavor is great of the mango. In fruity drinks. But they have too much sugar. I've cut out a lot of sugar. But I have to pop a chocolate or two. Once or twice a week. And I eat a broad spectrum of foods.. But I am most definitely a Carnivore. And I will eat anything that swims. Except Sperm. I'm not that kind of girl.. I'm just saying… If it comes out of the ocean.. It's fair game. And doesn't stand a chance with me. But I have to have plenty of soy sauce and WASABI. You can't be without the WASABI. You can mix WASABI with a little Coca-Cola. If you don't have soy sauce. But you have to have the WASABI. It's a moral imperative with sushi. I haven't yet figured out. How to drive my Monaco Motorhome to, Guam, the Marshall Islands, Fiji, Bali. It's hard to drive your motorhome to those locations. So? I'll probably stay on the mainland USA. Instead.
