Watching Endgame in theaters was something else. I know my story is far from unique (typing it anyway because it helps the algorithm) but people were sitting in the aisle because all the seats were full. Genuinely thought the balcony would come crashing down when Cap summoned Mjolnir. Definitely a good way to wrap up a lot from the previous movies. But I agree with some of the others in the comments about the pacing of the movie feeling very slightly off. Anyway, enjoy your day, Mike! Loved watching the reaction, as always 🙂
@OnMyMindEntertainment4 жыл бұрын
Thanks Mason!!! I've always felt that Endgame has bigger moments to please fans and complete story arcs, buy Infinity War was better paced, has you care for a villain in their first real appearance and shows the team encounter their first real loss. I like how Endgame shows how they've been dealing with that loss and the big moments are great, but the pacing is just off in multiple spots.
@JakkFrost13 жыл бұрын
One of my favorite stories about Endgame in theaters is that, apparently, a lot of audiences cheered when Thanos grabbed the power stone off the glove and sent Captain Marvel flying across the battlefield! 🤣🤣🤣 And that ridiculous "girl power" scene bugged me for many reasons, one of them being CM is supposed to be "the strongest", she shouldn't even have needed any backup. But the big one was that even Wasp showed up. I was like "ummm, isn't she supposed to be in the van with Scott, getting the quantum tunnel up and running, and making sure it stays that way?" I mean, she was literally the only person on the battlefield that was fully qualified to do so, that wasn't either currently engaged in battle with Thanos, or down for the count after snapping everyone back into existence.
@OnMyMindEntertainment3 жыл бұрын
There were a lot of things about the final battle that were done strictly for fan service and made absolutely no sense. The "girl power" scene being the main culprit for me, lol.

@@OnMyMindEntertainment yup! Another one being what, were they all just standing around twiddling their thumbs mid-battle, not fighting anyone, and had free time? I do think that Hulk got the short end of many sticks in this movie. Lots of people here in the comments mentioned them but I feel there’s one we’re forgetting: Everyone recognizes Stark for saving them from Thanos and his army but absolutely no one has ever even hinted at the fact that it was Hulk who brought the dusted half of the living beings in the universe back. I think it’s because of the studio that technically owns the rights to his character. It’s a bit disappointing since we all know it’s going to take a very long time to see Hulk again. I hope they do it soon enough so that Ruffalo can be cast again. Maybe bring back Hulk’s actually personna..? A movie with Hulk against Wolverine?! That would be cool!

One of my theories about Steve Roger's decision to stay with Peggy is that it ended up resulting in an alternate timeline where he was able to change history by rescuing Bucky from Hydra, bringing down Hydra before they could infect SHIELD, prevent number of events from JFK to 9/11, and get the Avengers together in the future so they can protect the Earth. As for how Steve was able to get back to his original universe, the Quantom Realm is one way to travel between realities, so it isn't impossible to do so.

Both were really good! So let's start there. I think it was a tie, in the sense that they had slightly different takes. They were both really funny. Push comes to shove though, maybe HT... if for no other reason than "Squeeeeee!" Now the movie... I thought it was exciting, but I didn't like the plot holes that were left. And, yes, they have since retro-fixed some of them, but there are some that even the writers and directors cannot agree upon. Cap was the second biggest one. Was he in an alternate timeline or was he actually in the past? (There is a video that shows him living with Peggy as he is hearing about all the things going on that he cannot help with or talk about...) My biggest issue was: If you dust Thanos from the past, he could not have gotten the stones and snapped half the population out of existence, thus removing the need to snap him out of existence. In that case, though, the guantlet was created by future (now decapitated) Thanos. Which means that if past Thanos was killed (before he could have created the guantlet) he could not have forced Eitri (Peter Dinklage's dwarf on the planet Nidavellir) to make the guantlet. So where did it come from? Two paradoxes in one shot!! Wibbely wobbely timey-wimey stuff!!

You don’t get the time-travel. Stop thinking of it as jumping to the past, think of it as jumping to the past in an alternate reality. Our reality goes unaffected by the events they do for the other timeline.
@arthurcamargo84163 жыл бұрын
@@mr.stuffdoer8483 Except that jumping to another timeline in an alternate reality is not really time travel. You are just creating events in another timeline that were always going to happen anyway. The challenge is that time travelling is either parallel universe timeline jumping or jumping to the past of your own universe timeline. If the movie's premise is alternate universe timeline jumping then the whole spiel the Ancient One gave about putting the stones back the moment they were taken becomes moot, as the stones are impacting a timeline that, in effect, was always going to be effected, while our own timeline goes unaffected. And when you came back to put the stones back, nothing has changed?

What if captain america was hiding in plain sight all these years. Think about it, he wasn't able to interfere directly into historical events, Kennedy's assassination, bucky's induction in to the winter soldier program, hydra infiltrated shield, etc. Because of fear of creating a far worse future but he still could not seat on the side lines with out doing nothing, so he did something and he became Mr. Roger's. He created Mr. Roger's neighborhood TV show to influence future generations to prevent them from doing some of the mistakes he experienced on the original time line. So peggy not remembering Steve when she was old might be her playing along with Mr. Roger's plan. So in a way he was fighting with the avengers before they were any avengers.

The reason Pitch Meeting wins is because Screenwriter Guy is wearing a Greendale shirt; the rest of it doesn't matter.

Sitting here wondering how sword got into wakanda to steal vision. Why wakanda did not try to take back its vibranium? Maybe it has something to do with the Chaos of wakanda not having a kind, n maybe fighting for the throne. Also, we learnt that the vision was tony's property in civil war. Could he have been taken from stark industries?

The episode definitely raises a number of questions. The episode also retconned Wanda's origin of her powers too. I wonder if this is there way of bringing mutants into the picture.

Instead of all the female avengers in one scene, they should have had all the heroes who still have movies after Endgame. I’m sure many fans were skeptical if the MCU would still be worth watching endgame. That one scene could’ve solidified the MCU still going string after their crowning achievement.
@OnMyMindEntertainment4 жыл бұрын
That would've been cool too. The all-female scene was absolute fan service that didn't make any sense.

“Oh! So he has to go to Asgard and stab Natalie Portman with the thing?” - Yeah, I guess so. “And he has to go to Vormir and have a weird conversation with Redskull and ask for directions to the kitty pool where you get the Soul stone?” - I mean, I guess he has to do that too. “Very uncomfortable situations!” 😂

One of the best writing moments of all time is in this movie. In the first Avengers, Tony and Steve were at each other’s throats about specific issues. Steve claimed that Tony was so egocentric that he wouldn’t be the one to sacrifice himself for his teammates. He wasn’t wrong. Tony claimed that everything that made Steve special was in the Super Soldier serum. When Steve showed that he was worthy to possess Thor’s powers by lifting Mjolnir and when Tony snapped his fingers to destroy Thanos and his army, thereby preventing them from destroying the entire universe... They proved each other wrong in this movie.

I don't know if you're into Dragonball, but there's a guy who's really popular on here names SSJ9k that does a lot of Dragonball rap battles and parodies with an urban theme. You should react to some of those. I'd like to see what you think about his work. Plus his videos get reactors a lot of views.

I wonder if you know that the internet theory about Ant-man going inside Thanos and then expanding into Giant-man wouldn’t actually work. If we go by comic book properties, since Thanos is the son of Eternals, his composition is stronger than regular atomic energy. It would essentially be the equivalent of trying to inflate a balloon between two very close brick walls.
@OnMyMindEntertainment3 жыл бұрын
Well that wouldn't work when you put it that way, lol!!! It would've been super funny though
