Now I'm on a Himalayan and waiting to fit the Dualventure for a test run . Thanks for the info and review . I have a very similar setup on my T7 - Dualventure in the front, and Adventure in the rear, both tubeless-type but run with tubes. I got a puncture on day on the rear and after the tire warms up a bit from either the sun or being on the road, it really softens up quite a bit which allows for much easier removal and installation.

Hey Curtis, great overview of the two tyres. 👍 On your recommendation, I will give the dual venture a shot. (New bike day a couple of days ago). I had already decided upon the RallZ for the rear, and I was seriously considering a Goldentyre823 front, though a few reviewers criticised it for a fast wear rate. Five months on from this vid, how has the dual venture held up?

I had DualVenture and Rallz rear both tube type on my KLR 650. The Rally is load but works great. With the DualVenture I get head shake/ speed wobble above 65/70 mph. I changed the rear and the wobble was still there. I changed the front and the wobble was gone. I used the set in a mostly dirt trip and they worked great. But for every day riding I had to replace the front after 900 miles. I live in west Texas and everything is really spread out and all roads have a 75 mph speed limit. Probably just acKLR thing. The Rallz rear is about done. Close to 4000 miles on it I think. Thanks for the videos!

I have the tubeless rallz front and rear. They started their life on a tiger 1200 rally explorer then onto a 901 expedition. The rear has done 12,000kms of being really flogged… now only about 3mm in the centre. The front is pretty good, personally I never break hard on bitumen as I ride VERY conservatively on-road. They could get another 10-12,000 out of the front and be “legal” but I am in the habit of just swapping both when I do the rear. Will keep one 1/2 worn front around just in case one day I get a damaged front mid rear wear cycle.

So Curtis, are you saying that you didn't choose the Tractionator front cos it would be pretty much like getting another Pirelli Rally and that was not suited to your riding needs atm? (in other words, you do not have any bad reports about them as a front tyre(?)....I am about to chuck my OEM Pirellis (on my Tuareg) and have just discovered that I can get Motoz here in Croatia....awesome!! So, altho I am yet to get out and about much just yet, I have already come across some seriously rocky terrain (like high country victoria) and slippery stuff, so I think I will go with the tubeless Tractionater tyres (RallZ). The Tuareg is also my first tubeless tyred dirt bike, so it will be interesting to see what works in tyre pressures too. So far I tried 21psi to good effect with the Pirellis....but tubeless offf-road is new to me....makes me a little cautious... 😀
