2 things im not a big fan of is no central locking for the tailgate (roller cover doesnt bother me with seperate key, as be like a canopy without central locking) and no seals for the tailgate, but im sure grunt4x4 will have it covered eventually just like ARB and others will have the offroad stuff covered as well

Rear locker will drive both wheels at same RPM regardless. It makes a huge difference in rough terrain. I'm surprised it took this long to include with D-Max. Not very impressed. But at least it has it now. I think my US based Nissan Frontier Pro 4 X will do better. Especially offroad it still has a good ride offroad. But it will suck the gas with the VQ 40 4 liter V6. If I were overseas I would be looking more at the new Nissan Navara Pro 4 X.

Great car, but just crazy that when you engage the diff lock, for more traction, they turn the traction control OFF!? Even the 10 year old Ranger doesn’t and neither does the Hilux. Fix it please Isuzu / Mazda.

The Isuzu is a very good 4WD and we loved the capability of 4WD Low Range. However, in 4WD High Range, the traction control, in our opinion, is not as good as others. We are only sharing our experience of the traction control during the short off road trip we took.

8 am from Namibia in Africa and I myself drive a Isuzu and the best experience off road. We have gravel roads here and even my friend that is driving the wildtrak said that the Isuzu is better off road

Joelolly Griffiths there’s loads of vids of the Wildtrak vs Dmax and u can easily see the Ford traction control is better.

@@vevohoeyo Not only that, they just now offer a rear locker? Here in the US the frontier pro 4X has had that since 2005. Bought the last of that model in 2019 and the bilstein off-road suspension with rear locker will destroy this d max. And the ride on rough terrain is top of class. Only thing the D-max can beat it at is MPG's. The big 4 liter VQ 40 V6 motor is thirsty. But luckily Petrol is cheap in the US and its a bullet proof motor. But I do like the new Navara Pro 4 X. Wouldn't mind test driving that but it will never be offered in North America.
