The movie is flawless-I’m watching it a second time this weekend. The casting is perfect. I won’t lie, I was a bit nervous about Ariana in the role because I remember seeing her in Hairspray and not being too impressed. But she trained, improved, and evolved. The overall work is simply sensational!

I just got home from seeing the movie in 3D with my daughter and granddaughter. OH. MY. GOD!!! It was sooooo much better than I anticipated! The sound was so intense that the recliners were trembling! Ariana and Cynthia were perfectly cast, and their voices combined so well. We’re already making plans to see it again!!!

I totally agree with Kelly. I loved this movie and I also felt different emotions. Ariana and Cynthia were awesome in acting and singing. 💚💖 Definitely want to watch it again.

I dont especially consider myself a funny guy but i got a full theater laugh after GUHlinda dropped the Gu, i just randomly said "what a noble sacrifice" to my boyfriend, and the entire audience just erupted in laughter and i wasnt trying to be super loud. So my review is: if you like going to the movies, this is a fine movie. Arianna Grande will surprise you. She's the actual highlight. Cynthia is good too but every time Grande isnt on the screen i felt her absence.

Graeme, I don't want to hear any more nasty things about Ariana. She worked hard to get this role and even harder to prove she deserved it. Also, this entire year has been so hard for her. It It is good to see her in a better place in her life

This must be a general statement you wanted to make cause I dont even remotely say anything nasty about Ariana in this segment. And just off the top off the top of my head, I can't think of anything I've said negative about her lately. I've actually done several segments over the past couple years that defend her against her ungrateful, demanding selfish fan base (of course, thats not all of her fans but its a very vocal percentage that she's had to address as well).

I just hate that its a two part movie loved it overall😍 and everything outdid 👏🏼 couldn't have been better will always be my fav Indina and Kristin the originals but Ariana grande and Cynthia did a good job, just could've been all together but then the length and most could feel it would be too long to put everything together instead of doing parts. But I wish they could've done the whole movie all together instead of dividing it into parts.

I actually didnt see that interview. But I've said in 2 separate segments that I figured they did when Idina suddenly had sealed lips this past May. My phrase is "sealed lips mean signed contracts". :)

@@EvenStevenSays well ET was the outlet that asked Idina back in May about a possible cameo and Idina said "if i told ya, I'd have to kill ya". So yeah, you dont threaten to kill if you have nothing to do with the movie lol

And ACTUALLY Kelly kinda "spoils" or at least contradicts Ariana's reaction video about finding out she was cast. She posted a photo/video of her finding out at home on a video call on her laptop. Kelly says during the interview "I was on the plane with you when you found out". lol

Saw it on 11/22. I'm not going to be specific, but there are cameos in this movie that had our theater standing up and clapping. JBailey is my new boyfriend (wink).

haha, i didnt notice that. I just googled "adaption" and it is a word and the definition is "Another term for adaptation". I just said both "big screen adaptation" and "big screen adaption" out loud and both of them sound right to me haha. So Im not sure which one I was intending to say, but I guess we're both right! hehe
