OK... This video does it. I've enjoyed so much your story thru the years with all the crew members and sailing friends and family but this video cements it. Lisa is by far the the richest and most adorable crew member thru Delos's years and hard not to feel an affection for her. Her little talk while on watch was ever so honest and moving that it almost made me tear up. Her impish and ever so cute looks and her so genuine and appealing nature shined in this episode. I'm an older fellow but it's hard not for me to imagine my younger and handsome self (Or at least so I was told!) gleefully meeting and falling for a Lisa! Lisa made this video a favorite!

Melvin Curtice you are right, Lisa is pretty awesome....her night watch speech was inspirational...& she is a cutie too....I was hoping to see a good Milky Way picture....but I realize that’s almost impossible on a moving boat...it was worth the try though...

I have to agree with everyone. Lisa's reactions from her 1st dive to her middle of the night declaration made her my favorite crew mate. She appreciates the opportunity to be on the Delos and all the "gifts" (good & bad) that come with it. My hats off to Brian too. Years on the oceans has made this guy a mechanical ninja. I dont want to leave the rest of the crew out, but suffice to say that I can really appreciate all the patience and kindness shown towards each other. It does show on the video.

Have spent 3/4 of a century on this blue marble and would give it all up to be part of what the crew on Delos have shown us. To just experience Lisa's description of a night watch mid-ocean under a clear sky and the Milkyway to me would be more than just magical

One of the BEST s/v Delos episodes EVER!!! Shows the essence of ocean sailing so well! Hand steering connects you with the conditions and the boat. S. B., We all were with her via this beautiful video. Really, it is the journey on the sea that sailing is really all about. The quiet norm until something breaks (often in the middle of the night and then cascading into a chain of catastrophic events any one of which could have you abandoned ship if not noticed and dealt with properly and with all speed. BUT, the Captain and crew handle everything perfectly like a dance that they practiced a thousand times in their sleep and all is well as the morning sun breaks and they and their tiny ship all return to peace and thanking God for the beauty and peace of another great day and memories thereof. Ahhh it is the sea, the journey that is truly sailing with destinations more as replenishing points of interest.

OMG! Another amazing video. Well done Delos crew! Side notes: 1.) Great to see you using safety gear on your night watch. It's a good message for newer sailors, sets a good example for kids by making that aspect glamorous, and makes your videos less cringy because we all want you safe with no man overboard / lost at sea. 2.) Bry, great job on the SSB! 3.) Amazing picture at the end of the swirling stars. Truly a unique piece of art. 4.) Bry and Brades: awesome for us to see your calm, cool, collected synergy and sense of humor, gents! Totally wish I could be a part of that world for just a few days. You guys make life, and the life you lead, look beautiful even though there may be downs or lows. Well done on keeping the positive vibes, love, calm energy, and peace. i dont think i have ever heard a more gripping description of life affirmation via the physical world than by Lisa describing her midnight watch impressions. The emotional tight rope walk she experienced balancing between being emotionally overwhelmed and becoming one with boat, wind, water, stars and yet being able to describe it by voice and show the captured chaos of the stars via photo. More than poetry and more than prose usually alone, we have all felt it, idling in a car hearing a song that means everything or at sea, or on a mountain ridge that moment of clarity. Smile, cry, chest tight, full use of our powers along lines of excellence. well done Lisa and thank you kindly! something about this Delos crew, the mix,the openess, something, puts me right there feeling and seeing it all. These Delos Videos have a lot of heart. Inspiring. only footage i get moved to scribble a line about!

This episode of This ole' boat with special guest Lisa the riveter. I'm an armature astronomer and I find it hard dealing with a long exposure time and light wind, let alone the addition of the movement underneath me. You would need a gyro-mount to even offset the water movement. But could only imagine how beautiful the skies would be on a starlight night in the middle of the Atlantic and its view of the southern cross. Delightful.
