First faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, second repentance, third baptism for the remission of sins, forth receiving the girft of the Holy Ghost. Then we must endure in faith, repentance when we make mistakes , living up to our baptismal covenants, and doing what it takes to keep the gift of the Holy Ghost. By becoming a Christian we are also promising to do our best to follow him. If we follow him we must keep his commandments. The gosple is simple and beautiful. Faith is first, we do the works because that is what he wants us to do, we covenant to do works, you know feed the hungry, help those in need, comfort the loney, be a friend to someone who needs a friend, all he expects is that we try our best as we should. Remeber, He wants us to have Charity one for another, treat one another with respect and empathy, sympaty, Love one another as he loves us. This is where the works come in. We are saved by Faith that just isn't the end. You don't just say OK I believe and not take action on that belief.

You just stole my thunder. Same story, I led a most miserable life, trying to save myself through. Good works ,only to fail endlessly. It wasn’t until I heard Robert Breaker’s videos that showed me where I went wrong. Not that I went wrong on my own. I went wrong, because my church never told me the truth. Now that I am saved by faith alone, I have the greatest victory over sin, and a joy, unspeakable and full of glory! I will never again trade this in for a false gospel. In fact, after I realized the truth, I had a spiritual visitation from Jesus himself who let me know that I was finally on the right path. @@jrodjr1295 As servants of Jesus Christ, we get rewarded by how we serve the Lord. These are rewards after our salvation. The works will not save you, but after you are saved, the works earn rewards in heaven. Nothing gets you to heaven except the shed blood of Jesus and believing in him and having Faith in him alone and trusting in what HE did, not what we do. With out the shed blood, there is no sacrifice, without Jesus's sacrifice, there is no Grace and with no Grace, there is no hope.

You can lose your salvation by: being unrepentant & harbouring unforgiveness. An unrepentant person knows that he or she has sinned and refuses to ask God for forgiveness or turn away from the sin. The unrepentant show no remorse for their wrongdoing and don’t feel the need to change. Unrepentance is the sin of willfully remaining sinful. Matthew 6: 14 if you forgive others their failings, your heavenly Father will forgive you yours; Matthew 6:15 but if you do not forgive others, your Father will not forgive your failings either. Matthew 7:21 'It is not anyone who says to me, "Lord, Lord," who will enter the kingdom of Heaven, but the person who does the will of my Father in heaven. Matthew 7:24 Therefore, everyone who listens to these words of mine and acts on them will be like a sensible man who built his house on rock. Mark 11:25 And when you stand in prayer, forgive whatever you have against anybody, so your Father in heaven may forgive your failings too.' Exodus 32:33, Yahweh said to Moses, 'Those who have sinned against me are the ones I shall blot out of my book. Hebrews 12: 14 Seek peace with all people, and the holiness without which no one can ever see the Lord. Ezekiel 18:24-26 24 'But if the upright abandons uprightness and does wrong by copying all the loathsome practices of the wicked, is he to live? All his upright actions will be forgotten from then on; for the infidelity of which he is guilty and the sin which he has committed, he will most certainly die. 25 'Now, you say, "What the Lord does is unjust." Now listen, House of Israel: is what I do unjust? Is it not what you do that is unjust? 26 When the upright abandons uprightness and does wrong and dies, he dies because of the wrong which he himself has done. Hebrews 10: 26 26 If, after we have been given knowledge of the truth, we should deliberately commit any sins, then there is no longer any sacrifice for them. Romans 11: 22 22 Remember God's severity as well as his goodness: his severity to those who fell, and his goodness to you as long as you persevere in it; if not, you too will be cut off.

​@jrodjr1295 (forgive my huge response, was working through a lot of Scripture on the spot) I don't understand it all either. I think salvation may be misunderstood. I'm certain that scripture teaches that salvation is by grace through faith, but fear that Christianity has warped what living by faith is truly. Before the fall of man, there was no existence of self-service, maybe not even a concept of regarding selfish desires. The temptation of Eve involved casting doubt on God's goodness as if God was holding back the best and the action of serving self for personal gain (if they ate, they would be wise and become like God). Sin was born when self was born. Remember they were surprised they were naked? Is that what life without selfishness is? I see a need on you and serve you? I don't need to take care of myself because I take care of you and you take care of me? It would certainly seem to be replicated in the early church. Paul said NO ONE should be looking out for their own needs, but those of others. God promised after the fall that Jesus would come one day to break the curse and restore our relationship with God to one of intimacy. That was the goal. To defeat sin (self-interest/serving) so we could BE LOVE just as God is love. In fact, that's what Jesus says in Matt 25's final verses. When he sorts out the people (sheep and goats), the one's he approves are the one's who were loving in the world (feeding the hungry, giving drink to the thirsty, comforting and visiting the lonely). And that was Jesus command: love one another. "He who loves me will keep my commands." When Ezekiel (6?) talks about the new covenant, it says God would give us hearts of flesh and he would put his Spirit in us SO THAT we would keep his commandments (well, Israel, but we are grafted in). In Romans 6, Paul tells the Romans that we are free from sin (self-serving) and not to give our members to serving sin (self) anymore. I don't think it's a coincidence that Jesus says that if one does not die to their self-willed desires to live for Jesus' will, they will not save their lives, but lose them. I think Romans 8 echoes this. Paul says "For (now that you are free), IF you go on living for your self, you WILL DIE, but if by the Spirit, you keep putting to death the deeds of the flesh, you will live." To tie it together, if the fall gave birth to selfishness and we go on living for ourselves after Jesus has cleared our sin debt, are the wages of sin still death or not? If they all fell on Jesus for all time, then why does Hebrews 6 warn about continuing to live in sin and liken it to crucifying Jesus all over again? Paul talks about crucifying the flesh to let Jesus live in and through us, but if we instead go on practicing sin is it not the same thing in reverse? Can one crucify Jesus to let their flesh live in their life? The writer says in Heb 6:8 that the life that continues producing thorns and thistles fails the test and is close to being cursed (separated from God) and that the end result is to be burned. On trusting God, did Adam and Eve not have everything they needed in the garden and could trust God to meet every need? When Israel grumbled in the desert that they were going to die, did God not show that he was trustworthy to meet every need even there? And now, if God is STILL trustworthy is there any need to take matters into our own hands and serve ourselves or should we trust God? As I said, I don't totally understand it yet, but salvation is by grace through faith, BUT it certainly matters how we live our lives and final salvation is not guaranteed if we live for ourselves. That much I'm sure about.

I'm still trying to understand why we as humans insist on making salvation more difficult than it truly is. Maybe it's just me, but I find it SO comforting to know that I don't have to depend on myself to get me to heaven. Can you imagine?! I can't even trust myself not to hit the snooze button too many times in the morning! Thank the Lord He loves us so much He said, "Leave everything to me because I love you and want you with me for eternity in paradise." Thank you for another wonderful message, Brother Breaker. Thank you Brother for this timely Word! I accepted Christ as a little boy of five. My Sunday School teacher shared a simple illustration of Salvation. On a flannel board, she first placed a black construction paper heart, explaining that I was a sinner. And because I sinned, I could not know, and be with God. Then she placed a red paper heart, explaining how Jesus, God’s only Pure & Righteous Son, came and died, shedding His blood for me, so that if I would believe & trust on Him, His blood, would wash and cleanse me, and cover my sin. Then she placed a white heart on the board, and asked if I would believe and trust in Him as my Savior. I remember kneeling in that classroom that day, and believing & trusting in Him with childlike faith. I’m sixty-two, and for fifty-seven years, my faith remains in His Atonement of His shed Blood, for me, a sinner who deserves Hell, yet a redeemed Child of Christ, who loves Him more, and trusts Him more, and who looks for His soon return. Then they were going to do a heart cath and can't because her kidneys are now failing. She's a believer and not at all afraid to go be with Jesus, but she also doesn't deserve to be miserable in the hospital. No one does. Brother Breaker I lost my mom 2 weeks ago and it breaks my Heart She wanted to be raptured and wanted to hear That trumpet sound!!! But she trusted in the blood of Jesus Christ and only in the blood but she's with Jesus Christ now!!! @@jrodjr1295 You use what God has given you, for him. You aren’t allowed to not work, and James explains it well. You work for God because you believe. Faith is evidenced by the work shown. Good seed produces good fruit.

Before I was saved, I was deceived by false teachings and vain understandings. It wasn't until Brother Breaker broke it down for me through dispensational teachings with Romans 3:25 in a KZbin video years ago. It's Jesus' blood that saves us eternally. I so appreciate you brother Breaker. A bloodless gospel is diminishing to Jesus and his precious blood. I thought I was saved since I was a kid until the best moment of my life happened almost a few years ago when I was deeply contemplating in thought and heart what Jesus out of love had done for me as God in the flesh on the cross, that he died to save me from my sin and that he was the ONLY way of salvation (I know now that I hadn’t truly believed this before.) Then, I said to Jesus in my heart “I believe!” Then I spoke this belief with my mouth. I felt the sorrow for all my sin and rejoiced that I was forgiven. Hallelujah! Since that time, even though I knew when I got saved that he’d shed his blood for me and he’d rose from the grave, the Holy Spirit has taught me the importance of his blood in my salvation. That only his shed blood has washed me clean from all sin. What a profound truth I’m so thankful to know. I praise Jesus for how he sought me in love and kept showing me who he is and what he’d done for me. I’m always in awe of the gospel and my soul craves to hear it over and over because it’s true and so magnificent. For all eternity the saved will be thankful for their God and Savior and that’s beautiful! He deserves all praise!

A lot of Christians online and preachers also say that you need to make Jesus the Lord of your life to be saved. I don't even know exactly what that means, but I don't need to because listening to Robert and realizing that I was given the true gospel as a child convinces me that I am saved! All they talk about is picking up food for disadvantaged people, and I don't even think that they give people the gospel when they give them the food! First faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, second repentance, third baptism for the remission of sins, forth receiving the girft of the Holy Ghost. Then we must endure in faith, repentance when we make mistakes , living up to our baptismal covenants, and doing what it takes to keep the gift of the Holy Ghost. By becoming a Christian we are also promising to do our best to follow him. If we follow him we must keep his commandments. The gosple is simple and beautiful. Faith is first, we do the works because that is what he wants us to do, we covenant to do works, you know feed the hungry, help those in need, comfort the loney, be a friend to someone who needs a friend, all he expects is that we try our best as we should. Remeber, He wants us to have Charity one for another, treat one another with respect and empathy, sympaty, Love one another as he loves us. This is where the works come in. We are saved by Faith that just isn't the end. You don't just say OK I believe and not take action on that belief.

Good works are a result of salvation not a requirement for salvation or to keep salvation. People who don’t understand the grace of Jesus always have a list of additional requirements that need to be met. By being in Christ through faith alone we are pleasing to God. Why? Thank you so much brother, and I have to say what happens when I listen to you, not every time, but many times while you speak it is received in my soul and then I communicate with God audibly, while still listening to you ❤️ it's actually amazing! This prayer of calling on the Lord Jesus ( Rom.10:14 ) tells you what to believe to go to heaven : Lord Jesus, I repent; I admit I'm a sinner and I am truly sorry. I do not trust in my own works to go to heaven because I realize, being a sinner, I cannot offer the perfect blood sacrifice that you require to pay for sin. Instead, I now fully trust, believing in my heart, that your finished work on the cross, your one perfect blood sacrifice, when you bled, suffered and died, in my place, paid for my sins in full, past, present and future. And I believe that you rose from the dead and that you are God Almighty, God the Son, alive for evermore !!! I’m so glad you opened the can of worms! Some very thorough gospel teaching helped me find the way of salvation. I have never doubted my salvation. I’ve tried to fellowship with our church people, but find there are some that trust in the blood, lots who trust in church membership, being in the church everyday it’s open. This is a very important message. Praying this is found by those who have false hope.

Brother Breaker would you please preach on how chastisement and fear of the Lord apply to us today? It's a hyperdispensationalist view that waters it down and says that none of that applies to us according to Ruckman.
