Wow, everything looks great; the ballast, weathered locomotives and rolling stock, scenes - you even have the power lines strung along. Great job.

Nice looking layout and trains. I have never seen any of those triple crown type cars ever. Guess they don't run down south here
@WorldOfNothin9 жыл бұрын
Art May NS is the only railroad that runs them, I think they have one that runs to Texas and thats about as far west they go. Know they run north and south from some where down near Atlanta and some where in OH. I live in Cincinnati so I can see several a day, but dont know where else they all run. Its sadly a dying thing, as rumors that NS is doing away with the roadrailer concept have been around for the last few years, potentially happening later this year
@jalong56839 жыл бұрын
+WorldOfNothin Confirmed. NS doing away with 200+ of the 240 jobs at the Triple Crown facility. Maybe the site will end up being converted to an intermodal terminal long term. Time will tell.

Gotta question, on ur 2nd n 3rd locomotives that are pulling cars, how do u shut the headlights off on them? Is it through the DCC controller, disconnected or a switch on the bottom of the loco?
@Conrailfan25968 жыл бұрын
it's through the dcc controller

@Model Train Whisperer Studios Yeah, that's a bit strange. Maybe it's because they are running modern trains on a layout that is late-50's/early-60' themed?
