Pure Coconut Milk Cold Process Soap

I can’t believe I avoided making a 100% milk soap all these years! I was so nervous to try but I absolutely loved this method!
This soap will be part of a 3 soap gift set 😉
The scent is described as fresh coconut shavings, juicy lemon, and orange zests, leading to notes of creamy shea butter, hints of rose petals, with a marine accord; all sitting on a warm base of driftwood, tonka bean, and exotic musk.
Might just be my new favorite. 🤔🥰

I add kaolin clay to essential oils it helps to hold the aroma of your essential oils in the soap. How much kaolin clay depends on size of your batch of soap. Experiment start small or do your research and watch KZbin Soapers who have been around a long time. Hope this helps ❤

Coconut milk is a part of all my recipes for its extra bubbly and creamy lather! I use coconut milk powder and mix it directly into the oils.

why did you put oils into lye solution and not other way around?

It doesn’t matter if you add oils to lye water or lye water to oils. Putting water into lye is a big no no. Maybe that’s what you’re thinking of :)

It’s not coconut oil. It’s coconut milk. If you add lye directly to room temperature coconut milk it will scorch and burn it :)
