If this was real, the real fun wouldn't be the reactions in the show, it would be that everytime a real doctor had to tell a parent their baby is dead the parent would just have the smallest bit of hope that it's just the TV show. That and their baby isn't actually dead, when it really is.

Since between childhood stories, stories he makes up in characters, and show pitches. I feel like we'd at least have a very interesting serial killer on our hands. They could call him Jackie the Choke Man. Since apparently "Jack" is an acceptable nickname for JAMES. There's a british Comic named Jack Dees who's real name is James, not a "John" to be found in his full name.
