My son has the same Alopecia. He's 12. Hugs momma. I was addicted for 20 years to opiates. Our stories are so similar. ❤

Great conversion you two! I agree with Nicole about the devil thing, he's a sneaky little bugger. I also agree with Daniel about not giving your higher power ALL the credit for your sobriety. Getting sober and staying clean is tough and YOU deserve some credit also. Loved this conversation, thanks for sharing Nicole and thanks for hosting Daniel.

My ex wife was a criminal too. She had a meth addiction. I was doing well and had my own money when we met. I also thought she was trying. I pitied her too. She made me life absolute hell. She ruined me psychologically and financially. She started threatening to hit me. I finally escaped. It took nearly 2 years. I got a marriage annulment all on my own and cut off all contact. This woman’s story is SO SIMILAR to mine. It’s insane. I just lived the lesbian version. 😕

Had a hip replacement at 35 cause my femur had a hole in it. I’ve been on pain pills for about 3-4 years. My prescription of 90 lasts me barely 3 weeks. They don’t work and I’m taking more. I’m trying so hard to just cut them out. If there’s any advice out there I’d love it.

Sorry I don't have much advice but sending strength for the journey. Coming off opioids is no joke, I've definitely been there.

Have you tried prayer and fasting not intermittent fasting but several days and reducing the number of pills you take? Ask God with all your heart to take this from you believe he will. Your faith will make you whole.

Lady, look into codependency issues. Maybe you even did. Getting abused once even a second time is one thing but having this go on for years coupled with low self esteem screams codependency. No healthy person would ever let it go past first couple of abuses let alone years and years.

@@hardknoxtalkspodcast agree, we do learn our own lessons. Thats why I hinted that its something worth looking into. If the symptoms resonate, now you know how to heal, if not no harm is done. All the best, great guest - awesome personality :)

Interesting comment considering this video is about addiction and recovery. Sooo keyword…healthy. Very obvious she wasn’t. When you’re in addiction you will justify anything and everything.
