Awesome tip. This video saved me a very expensive visit from a plumber on a Sunday morning! 👍👍👍

I am totally amazed that companies stay in business with instructions like this. The little spring loaded button on the side of the box moves a plastic collar which slides out of the way of the threaded piece when inserted. Put your glasses on and look in the hole while you press the spring. When the end of the threaded stock is fitted into the plastic box the spring is released which holds the mechanism together. The plastic grasps the collar. There is a small collar on the threaded metal piece. It should be interesting tomorrow when I have to mount this thing with the plastic of the inside (under the lid) and the metal on the outside (top of the lid). Must remember that the mech plunger spins on the cables and the thread only tightens the plastic to the metal. Holy crap.

My previous owner had installed this flushing system in the cloak room loo. It started misbehaving today morning, water leaking, wouldn't stop. I tried to find the name of company which made this wonderful 😞 product, couldn't find it anywhere, unbelievable. why don't they print the model number and the company name prominently so that we can order replacement parts. finally found his video with the help of the photo i had.

The cable seizes up in the sleeving , leaving the flush continually running until you reach inside the cistern to lower the plunger.

YES!!! How did you fix this? I have started getting this issue and I cannot seem to fix it, I thought it was down to button positioning but it's not.

@@AA-kn4px WD40 down the cable I think worked for me last year, same problem again, just trying to remember how I fixed it!

Brilliant. I have the issue of the never ending flush. I had tried greasing the button which I thought was sticking. It wasnt. Only just looked at the thing properly now. Seems most designs now ditch the silly cable. Wonder why!? I thought I might need to adjust the cable tension some how. Well I tried shooting lubricant down the cable and it now seems to be working again but feels very unreliable. Will see how it goes. Thank you for posting the advice

Why do you show a different push button going into the cistern from the working mechanism?? I’m struggling going from the working mechanism to a fully functioning toilet because the clip doesn’t fit the gap. Any advice?

doesn't show you how to work the internals of the white plastic box at the end of the cable that connects to the button. when I connected it, every time I press the button, the spring comes off inside?.

I don't know how a company can sign off on such a poor quality design that never works. My toilet I inherited has this POS installed and it's caused me nothing but trouble. Please sack your product design manager and get rid of this not fit for purpose design

Replaced my cable but the mechanism at the flusher end keeps getting stuck up causing the button end to be stuck in, I keep having to reach in the cistern to push it down until it does it again!!! Anyone else had a fix for this

The flush button is a poor design, i have these fitted to two toilets and the base of the button cracked away from the sides on both within days of each other, lasted just over 3 years. Very very poor
