It isn't designed to be easily replaced. Technically it could be if you are competent with soldering & general DIY but we can't advise on how to do this.

So, the one thing im confused of is, does this specific model map out your mouth using the app?

I wish you could do a video on the difference between Oral-B genius 6000vs9000
@ElectricTeeth3 жыл бұрын
Hi Tom. I am afraid we don't have a video on this comparison or any plans to record this at the moment. The Genius 9000 is a model not sold in the USA? What country are you in, so I can provide the most accurate list of differences.

@@ElectricTeeth ok then the 9600 is how many more features are on it than a 6000 and what’s the difference between pro and genius models
@ElectricTeeth3 жыл бұрын
Hi Tom. The price difference will depend on the seller, but the 9600 is generally going to be in the region of $80 more expensive. The key difference is that the 9600 comes with real-time tracking of your cleaning. It uses the front facing camera of your smartphone to detect the position of the brush in the mouth. It works, but the Genius X has real-time tracking technology that relies on sensors in the handle rather than a smartphone camera, so it is much more convenient. Other key differences between Genius 6000 and 9600 are: 9600 has an extra tongue cleaning mode 9600 has a premium travel case that allows you to charge the toothbrush, whilst inside, using a proprietary power adapter 3 brush heads are included in the box with the 9600 compared to the 1 with the 6000 You get a brush head storage compartment for 4 heads with the 6000 The 9600 comes with a suction cup smartphone holder 9600 has a slightly different charging stand. I hope that helps. If you want a smart toothbrush, look at the Genius X, If not the Smart 1500 from Oral-B (despite the name, it isn't smart).

why doesn't the brush have a plastic cover over it to keep elements off it ???
@ElectricTeeth6 жыл бұрын
This is a good question. Whilst some brushes do come with this, they tend to be small caps that can be easily lost.

I have yet to see a review mentioning if the plug 🔌 for Oral B 7500 works with different wattages. I travel often and I have to carry with me a wattage converter since in the Philippines 🇵🇭 they have 220 watts compared to ours which is 110. I find the cleaning with Oral B is better than Sonicare. But, Sonicare beats Oral B on battery🔋 life. My husband's Sonicare lasts 3 to 4 weeks while my Oral B (an older model) lasts 3 to 5 days😐
@ElectricTeeth Жыл бұрын
No, as standard the charging stand supports 110-30v. If you want to use with 220v you will need a voltage adapter. It might be easier, if you travel regularly to buy a Oral-B charging stand that supports the 220v. You should be able to get one in the Philippines. The brush should still charge on the different voltage stand.

I just got this last week to replace my Oral B electric from the early 2000's. I like the brush overall but think it has WAY too many bells and whistles. How the hell do you change modes? I did it at the beginning, took me forever to get it to pulse every 30 seconds to change areas as you brush but now it's stuck in tongue brush mode and I can't get it back. I think much of this is unnecessary. Too bad I used it so can't return it for one more basic.

Use the lower of the 2 buttons on the handle to change the cleaning mode.

So the 7500 and the 8000 looks exactly the same. The only difference is the genius feature
@ElectricTeeth6 жыл бұрын
Pretty much. Genius 8000 has a tongue cleaning mode, the ability to charge the brush in the case as well as a smartphone suction cup holder and of course the position detection technology.

Can I connect the charging to the travel case?

There is no way to charge the brush in the case with this model.

Which electric brush would you recommend for all features and useability
@ElectricTeeth2 жыл бұрын
If you want all the best features then then within the Oral-B range this is the iO Series 9. Or if you are not worried about brand our ultimate pick is the Sonicare 9900 Prestige.

@@ElectricTeeth Hi. It's been a year. What are your top 3 favorite brushes under $300? I'm trying to decide. I have the Pro 1000 but was sent the 1 with 1 mode despite the ad saying it had 3, so I'm going to upgrade. I just bought the io series 7 and discovered it shoots toothpaste everywhere when moving tooth to tooth and doesn't spin or have the functions I thought it had. It doesn't clean as well as the Pro 1000. I prefer a brush that oscillates/rotates. Do you have any suggestions?

Greetings! What an awesome, thorough job you do! I actually visited your website to read 3 reviews before I was brought here. Would you say that the main (if not only) difference between this model and the Genius 6000 is the extra/replacement brush heads? Many thanks for your diligence and warmth, and in advance for your response. 🙏🏽

I am glad you have found our content useful. Yes, my understanding is that the key difference are the brush heads supplied. The 6000 comes with 1 x CrossAction whereas the Pro 7500 comes with 1 x CrossAction, 1 x FlossAction & 1 x 3D White.
