Shape knobs perfect. Two good spots 10 and 2. Either a scoop or a mid forward tone. Nothing else needed to tweak

The Shape control is the best thing Orange ever did with this series. I have both a TH30 and TH100. Can't get a bad sound out of either. Just dial in your sweet spot and you're good to go.

My best decision for this amp was putting an EQ in the effects loop. Made the drive channel more manageable and opened up the cleans to a new level, now it’s my favorite amp to use currently

I find my th30 sounds to dark on the dirty channel. Now i use the clean cannel with an angry charly and a boss sd1. Sound realy good this way.

It sounds really quite good. I have orange terror heads and into an orange 2x12 cab. Orange is a very good product. Where is your orange digital head? Do you prefer pedals into the TH or the digital.

I shot the CR120 head out against this a month or two ago and this won out. On pedals and on pretty much everything. So I sold the 120

Love my TH30, but agree on the Shape knob - virtually useless. Just use an EQ pedal, problem solved.

While I get that I am going to receive a bunch of flak from the Orange Army out there for this comment, I have never truly understood what anyone sees in these amps to begin with given the fact that there is a literal plethora of amps on the market that produce a far superior tonal palette. I think that these amps were quite literally built for and by a bunch of beatniks that still believe that man buns are stylish. 😂

Well I can ride with you part of the way on that. With the views I get we’re quite safe from any army lol. I’m still exploring the range of tones but I’m not sure I could honestly describe or point out an example of The Orange Sound. Whereas Fender Marshall and Vox I can identify most of the time.
