I watched this commercial when I was little and because of that I always had the thinking that you could put orange juice in a coffee pitcher. Oh the things that can mislead you.

"Hey,Jamie,orange you smart?" Yes, you bet I am, not only for drinking Florida orange juice, but for remembering commercials with their catchy jingles like this one, while growing up as a kid in the 1980s.

"Hey,football player,"("YES?" "Orange(Aren't)you smart?"(You bet!") That would have been neat, if an "Orange you smart"TV commercial on football players in the locker room,say,before practice or a game,was ever made. This always was and still is one of my favorite TV commercials,with the catchy song and of course,"Orange you smart,for drinking orange juice,hey,orange you smart?"(cute pun on Aren't and orange.) Fond memories of growing up as a kid in the early 80s with great commercials like this.

That's Joey Levine singing this jingle too, isn't it? I know he wrote it. I wish I could meet him someday, and tell him just what a HUGE fan of his I am, and get his autograph!! Thanks for posting this cute commercial! I'm glad it wasn't done by Anita Bryant. I'm not gay, but I don't like her, because I have a friend who's gay, and I think they deserve all the same rights as anybody else!
