The thunderous pronouncements of the Speaker of the House of Commons have become the subject of numerous profiles in European newspapers and a fair few highlights videos shared heavily on social media. One article in a Dutch newspaper suggested: 'The only order in British politics comes from John Bercow’s mouth in these turbulent days'

o please don't. We aren't american you know where every other news person or whatever seems to have their own show and some kind of cult celebrity status. Our professionals don't go for that, they prefer the respect that comes from doing the job properly and well. Trevor Mcdonald for instance reminds me of Fareed Zakaria and then you have people like John Snow who has been the main guy for channel 4 since 1989. These people are famous but not in the same "center of the limelight" type way. Not that I am belittling your guys, I think Cuomo is good and Fareed obviously, I'd say fareed is more like a British news person than american lol, he almost has the Received Pronunciation down pat which must be difficult for an american speaker. :~) Good stuff any but, yeah, no thanks about the show. Maybe chump can host one from his prison grave or cell.

He is the best side of all that Brexit mess. Mr. Bercow, please bring 'order' in the Brexit thing that all are satisfied with. Only you will make it. Thumbs up if you want him for PM. Best regards, Andre from germany

you want moon on a stick. The are 4 or more different things people want. They all conflict with each other. This is not a yes or no situation. most will end up with a thing or 3 they never voted for or wanted.

We need so badly a man with a voice like JB in France; every debate in our Assembly is so dull that even snails and slugs would call it boring.

For a Conservative he is honourable in position as speaker. He takes the position he has no affiliation with any party seriously, from what I've seen, and conducts himself as such. If it wasn't for the fact that I knew he's a member of the sociopath club, I could be forgiven for thinking he was maybe a Lib Dem, but definitely not a Tory.
