The craziest thing about the 07 is that technically, its built on the bones of the previous cost capped LMP2: The Oreca 05 (which itself was run by Rebellion in LMP1 as the R1). Any customer that ran this car and wanted the new car could simply have it upgraded to the new car since so many of the internals were relatively the same.
