love this series because I didn't know about these manufacturers and their impressive history before watching this

FYI: You missed 2 important chapters in their 50th anniversary in 2022: 1. *Dallara's been tasked to build the Gen7 Nascar Cup series chassis, which debuted this year.* 2. *One of the same Gen7 Cup car chassis is going to be a Garage 56 entry in 2023 24H of Lemans, and being ran by Hendrick Motorsports*

I don't like Nascar for the series it is, oval racing based. But the cars have such great potential, super powerful, superheavy, low downforce... I'd love to follow a sprint series on real circuits. And I'm really looking forward for the LM project. Diversity is what motorsport is lacking today.

@DUcE Dev!lsTear Actually Nascar has ran the most amount road courses in the cup schedule this year than ever before: 1.COTA 2. Road America 3. Sonoma 4. Watkins glen 5. Charlotte Roval

@@MainMite06 thanks, I check it if I get time. But honestly, still not enough 😀 I mean, it would make more sense if it was 5 ovals and the rest circuits. I don't know why the Americans are so obsessed with turning one direction.

@@ducedevlstear2471 Its not about turning in one direction, the answer is pretty complex in summary, *its about influence, visibility and relatability for the fans for the most part.* If you want me to answer the whole complex soup go ahead & ask

I used to really like Dallara but I don't do much now since they became a monopoly especially in the single seaters. Especially IndyCar is in bad shape since the switch and the single chassis contract. Spec racing can never be regarded as high level motorsport.
@MainMite062 жыл бұрын
If that was true the 2022 Indy 500 should have never seen a crowd of 325,000 fans!
@ducedevlstear24712 жыл бұрын
@@MainMite06 and then again, check the 90s how fantastic it was before the split. And you had the real competition. Several chassis and engines. Today we get piss poor spec racing. Spec racing is great in junior series, it helps to give chance to real talents. But in the big world we need competition on all fronts, drivers, cars, engines, tyres... Yes, Indy today gets viewers, but that's in large portion because of the name and because there just isn't anything else. Same with Sport Prototypes, Hell ! People only adress it as Le Mans !
