nice video, does anybody know an alternative where i can choose or import different kind of maps and gpx files? is there something free or is locus maps 3 pro the best for it?

@dertobi5851 you can import gpx files to Organic Maps now. The style of the map, however, can't be changed. You're stuck with the default looking map. OsmAnd is another good program to check out.

Does it have speedometer?

It does if you long press onto a location you wish to navigate to and press the "Navigate to" button. This will pull up turn by turn directions and the speed you are currently going on or off road. You can turn off the voice. I rarely use the navigation feature but if you want to clock your bike speed, this would suffice.

Can you trace out the trail while hiking ? Can you see how far you have to summit or location? I use a similar app on ios that lets me do this and is literally the only reason I’ve stayed on iPhone . This might be what I’m looking for to jump to android

You can reset or add more "stops" if you choose to take a different path from your original planned path. You can do this anytime you want. It'll re-route you and update how many miles you have left to go and how much elevation gain or loss you have. I usually don't bother with stops. I just set the "route to" the peak of the mountain and let Organic Maps pick the quickest trail....unless I have a specific trail in mind. In that case, like in the video, I'll drop a stop in the middle of the trail I plan to take and Organic Maps will re-route to the correct one. Regardless of what you choose, it's all offline so you can update any of this at any time without worrying about losing the map due to poor service. PS. Before leaving your car, always bookmark where you parked as a backup so you can find you way back just in case.
