Actually most of what she mentioned that happened in the netherlands has to do with the cocaine trade. Rotterdam and Antwerpen are huge port cities and are the port of entry for cocaine distribution in europe. Violent crime came with cocaine

I remember having shrooms with MDMA then going to a Kraftwerk gig 😂 The 90's were the best years of my life... from aged 14 to 24, from hip hop to chi- house, Detroit techno to electro... Best years. Im 53, I did more than most between the age of 16 and 27, it took me 4 years to land myself back into a semi decent reality,by the time i was 31 i settled down started living what people would call a normal life. I still to this day suffer extreme lows,and very strange highs, irregular heart rate and the usual older age stuff. Would i go back and change it...... Definitely not, doors were opened that quite clearly non users dont know about. Are they all good doors no they are not. A time never to be repeated and all i see are people who pretend they were on it when they weren't.

something to know here for anyone ever going to try MDMA and how it can go very bad is how much you just want to keep the feeling going and can lead from a small dose at 100-200mg to redosing more and more and more, ive had my fair share of the drug and would easily end up a couple days on end i would see that happen quite regulary with friend also wouldnt be unheard of to take 1.5-2grams a night but i would also be mixing MDMA, Shrooms, lsd 2cb, please be careful with the substance or any other substance as it may feel good but treat them with respect or they will humble you greatly

Praying and Connecing with God works for me now. Tried MDMA again a few times recently and didnt feel the same as it did in the early 90s and 80s. Didnt work onme anymore. Dont know if its a dif formula now or if you lose the ability to get high from it over time? There are cities inthe US that have decriminalized and provide safe spaces for drug use and it still traps people in addiction. Look at food and weed. Some are ok with iand some get addicted and abuse it. Maybe there was a reason it was orignally criminalized. Anyone know about the Opium dens in China back in the day. De-criminalizing recreational drugs addresses only part of the problem. The other part of the problem is that for many in the US, life sucks. The only jobs available to young adults (or even most adults) are minimum wage jobs with no future, where working full time still leaves you in poverty. That same job offers zero to awful benefits and a single serious medical episode can leave the patient (and their family) with crippling debt. US schools are overall and in general, similarly awful and most citizens do not have access to quality non-hyper-processed food because they can't afford it. These (and more) issues need to be simultaneously addressed. Of course, our government is non-functional ATM, and democracy may be gone soon. (shrugs).

I’ve never tried mdma… well I have, but I used to be a pretty bad person drug wise, I took double the amount I was told to and I felt a bit funny in the car ride to a families Xmas party, 20min drive which was maybe placebo? I was drunk and on other stuff too so… anyhow, the way joe explains it it sounds exactly like opiates, which I know too well I was prescribed and addicted to dilaudid. I don't know about the wonderful world in everyone would be on mdma, we had a kid taking ectasy to stay awake all night long and rob. He said it's cheap, gives him energy and takes away his fear. And the strangest thing is he did it quite often but when he was out having fun he occasionally smoked some weed, more often he had some drinks but that's mostly it. I think he snorted cocain every couple of months but extasy was his choice to do his work.
