Fun fact Khonshu’s name actually means ‘traveler’ not only for how the Moon travels across the sky but also for how he would protect those who prayed to him for safety at Night hence his “Do you swear to protect the travelers of the Night” line brilliant writing on Marvel’s part surprisingly very historically accurate.

I had no idea Khonshu was one of, if not THE most powerful god of the New Kingdom. I had always assumed it was Ra and later Amun-Ra. It makes sense, all those caravans travelling the Sahara at night, lit only by the moon, for millennia, and still today.

he wouldn’t remember this not because of thanos, but because he just was not in control. marc mentioned in episode three iirc that he had control over his DID until very recently, which was what happened with his mother two months ago, loong after he became khonshu’s avatar. alters that aren’t controlling the body won’t remember what the body has done or where it went or, yknow, whatever. those memories are for the one who was in control.. which was marc in this case.

Also, you can't kill an alter. Alters can't die. The only way Steven (and Jake) could die is if Marc dies. Also, also, the series takes place in 2025 (There's a GCR [sp?] sign on the bus in ep2, and on Disney+ Moon Knight is placed after Hawkeye (which takes place in December, 2024) in the timeline order category), this particular scene takes place ten years before in 2015- three years before the Snap.

There's only 1 Marc Spector but in this scene he and his alter Steven Grant going through his memories back in the days when he's about to die getting shot by Bushman (his mercenary partner) and Khonshu save him by making Marc his avatar. You need to watch the entire series to understand. Just 6 episodes and worth watching
