i remember back in the day going to my local model shop and buying the bits every week to build a Meteor used to use my £5 pocket money and buy a cpl bits and after couple months i duilt it great little car

Wow, how things have changed! I love the look of the Cobra, but those hinge 'pins' (nails) and flat-head screws would put me off, although I'd probably swap them out if I was going to race it to be honest. Awesome stuff!!

I had one of those in the day, yellow chassis and ball bearing kit. Changed to a ESC and Green Machine 2 motor 😂

I used to race one of these when I was 13, paper-round funded, got it into A-finals a few times and won B a few too. Against much fancier cars & still with the original servo 😂

The best oil to use especially if your using a ABEC spec bearing is Powell Peralta Speed Cream for skateboards they will roll almost forever try it out.
