In this video, Tim demonstrates how to perform 1/4 lunges around the clock in order to expose the body to different vectors in order to make the ankles, knees, and hips resilient. As a bonus, Tim also throws in another amazing movement for free!
Try this, and you'll like it.

@@OriginalStrengthSystem It sure was. Especially the variation in which you bring the leg backwards. I'm used to doing reverse lunges, so shifting the weight onto the other leg really makes for an interesting feeling.

Hey Robin, I noticed that you follow Dan John and Tim. Are there any other gems in the fitness industry you could recommend? Since your taste is obviously excellent...

@@niklasbertrams1070 Thanks, Mr. John and Mr. Anderson are my staples. My programs are based on these two legends. I would recommend Mr. Grey Cook of FMS. He is an incredible instructor.

Great video! Would you say this should be done before or after a leg strength workout ? And would this be done daily ?
@OriginalStrengthSystem
@OriginalStrengthSystem Жыл бұрын
It could be done in an all of the above way, but it need not be. It all depends. If you just want to move well and keep moving well, it could be a daily or multiple times a week practice. IF on the other hand you played court or field sports it would make a great movement prep before you take the field or court. It would also be a great leg day training movement prep as well. Hope this helps!

Funny variation: combing it with cross walk; in each position of the clock do 1-2 contra-lateral hand touch to the leg in progress, What do you think? For me it felt GREAT!!! And adding some head nods or ratation just WOW you, too!!

hey Tim, i tried doing the drawing circles you show at minute 5:20 in the line at Safeway and everyone else in line looked at me funny. Is there a way to do this while in line w/out having everyone give me strange looks?
