I love your recipes And your presentation. Tell your son to buy you a professional stove you deserve it. You asked for suggestions When you made your tripe soup you blackened the onion. Not necessary just add the yellow onion with all the outside peels intact. Gives a great color. My heritage is polish, my mother made the best tripe soup I really miss it. I will try yours mom never made Hers with oxtails.

We could only get artichokes once a year in the USA (I was born in the '50s) so my family made a meal of them when we could get any. Boiled, with melted butter. Lots of work, and very little food. The small ones are much easier. Huge amount of work preparing these, and growing them is heck, as they are thistles and not pleasant to be around. I like the taste, however. Uprated.

That's funny, I was just thinking the same exact thing. I guess we're about three or four jars of marinated store-bought ones every week. I came here looking for a cheaper alternative to the ones I buy in the store but after watching this I think I'll just keep buying them. I guess it will be a luxury LOL

Those are baby artichokes, the choke isn't developed yet.
