OSAKA Street food 🇯🇵 / IZAKAYA TOYO - JAPAN vlog

In this episode we return to Osaka after over three years to finally try the world famous Jiggly cheesecake from Rikuro. We also returned to the equally famous Izakaya Toyo to eat the incredible flame thrower cooked tuna cheeks.
We took a stroll around Dotonbori and even visited the CRAZY Don Quijote shop to completely overload our senses.
We capped off the trip with Andrew's favourite food in Japan... Takoyaki!!!

Originally from the Wirral, North West England we got married in 2012. After a few trips abroad we caught the #travel bug. In 2019 after 6 weeks in Japan we decided we were going to quit our jobs and take some time out to travel full time. After many delays due to the pandemic, in 2021 our dream finally came true and in November we set off on our journey.

"Toyo", a seafood izakaya at Kyobashi Station in Osaka, is a restaurant where you can eat famous, cheap and delicious seafood introduced in a Netflix program!

English ladies and gentlemen properly eat cheesecake in their rooms. It's very different from the KZbinrs who cover themselves in it outside. It's fantastic that two such people go to a man's open-air pub where they grill with their bare hands. We look forward to further exploration of Japan. Take care of yourself.

We have been to Izakaya Toyo a couple of times. He is a real character and his food is great. We look forward to returning to Japan in the future. It is our favourite country 😁

According to Google it is 1pm - 6.30pm but they close on Thursday and Sunday 😁 Saturdays they open at 12 👍
