5000 soldiers of the Hungarian People's Army played the Ottoman Army for this movie, so getting an accurate uniform for each "actor" must have been impossible. The scene is supposed to depict the 1552 siege of Eger. I would say the uniforms are mostly on point, could use more Jannisary though.

Thanks man, im not a historian expert but. But since 15s until 17s century, formerly romanian lands Wallachia, Moldavia and Transylvania. We had our wars against the Ottoman Empire. Plus the war outfits. Where slightly more accurate. From old chronicles and other documents.

Egri Csillagok / Starts of Eger The castle of the Hungarian city was sieged by Turks in 1552, made from the historic novel with the same title. All children must read it in Hungary.

We didn’t invade any country. With the land we stepped on we conquered the hearts of people. We didn’t exploit , we didn’t oppress, we didn’t overbear people we didn’t forbid their religions. We brought peace we brought civilization we brought fairness justice. Behind the walls people were groaning like We would rather see the turban of Turks than cone of Latin at that time. Today Serbian, Albanian, Hungarian, Bulgarian, Kurdish, Arabic , Greek, Armenian are the language that are spoken. We had ruled all that lands for hundreds of years. If our purpose had been that we would have wiped all these languages out. We would have annihilated all the Christians , would have demolished all the churches , would have made all the citizens Muslim by the sword but we we hadn’t done these and this is the difference between conquering and invading.
