Oud Wood is not for the purists that want a true Oud scent. Does that mean it's a bad scent? Nope, actually a very versatile scent that shows woods in a classy without smelling like home depot. An excellent release that deserves the love it gets.

My fav Tom Ford (I also loved the now discontinued Musk Pure (sigh)). As a woman I’ve worn TFOW since 2011… woods/musks/resins etc sing on my skin. On me it projects beautifully. I’ve had men and women tell me it’s great and ask what it is. The sillage is amazing. One colleague was working the room trying to figure out who smelt so good 🤣 huge compliment. 4 people I know have splashed out on this after finding out what it was and trying a spray. I believe scents have no gender. If it smells good on you? Wear it. Warm clean woods, a little smoke and in me a punch of amber and lots of musk like notes. Warm and cool simultaneously…My gorgeous charcoal grey cashmere sweater of a fragrance. So good ❤️

If you are looking for a cheaper alternative to Oud Wood, then check out Versace Oud Noir. With the reformulation of Oud Wood you are going to get around the same longevity and projection with Versace Oud Noir.

I wanted to like Oud Wood, because I'm not really an oud guy, but even the fake oud was just too potent for me personally. Granted, I work as a teacher so I try not to wear fragrances that are too attention grabbing. However, I got quite a few compliments on it during my testing, though, from both female and men.

Awful awful longevity for me. Love the smell but feel like at that price point should last longer. Definitely won't rebuy.

Try Milton Lloyd mojo no10, lasts longer and give it 15 mins on your skin as the initial spray is shit but lasts longer and projects more than Oud Wood. Apart from the first 15-20 mins, it's 100% identical, so much so i stopped buying the real thing!
