The towels are fantastic! Your guide and your waiters and service persons take it seriously and I love it! I knew the Nile flowed north but today I learned about the locks. Fascinating! I will never be able to go to Egypt so I really am enjoying this trip and all of the temples and pyramids. Stay awesome. Be well and safe.

Luxor was my favorite site in Egypt....even more than the Pyramids. I wish you could see it during the daytime. You can still see the colors on the columns. Were you able to see the Obelisk? I believe you're going to the Valley of the Kings. I believe it's some distance across the Nile from Luxor. Perhaps that why you're leaving so early.
