You've got a lovely view out your kitchen door, who could ask for more on a bright sunny morning? lol. I love motorhomes. I bought a 34 ft. Heritage back in 1984 and left it in Michigan and my sister used it all summer to go camping with her Grandkids, they all loved it. Enough of that, I certainly wish I was out there with you two and the pups. Thanks for sharing all the sights with all of us.

Percy a lovely little extension to your living accommodation, the getaway vehicle for trips away, we've owned touring caravans for many years, our current abbey vogue though now getting a little old is stored in secure storage at the site we mainly use it, it's what we can our chill out zone 😂 . Beautiful RV, we use our microwave to store our bread…. lol. I’m so excited…. They make these spring loaded rods. They kinda look like a shower curtain rod and they fit perfectly inside the cabinets so the stuff doesn’t fall out. I think I bought them on Amazon.

Don't forget when Percey is in storage to leave the fridge door open because obviously it will sweat and mold absolutely beautiful motorhome so looking forward to seeing your travels on the roads you might want to get a generator now fantastic you 2 are big love ❤😊👍

As time goes by you will find lots of additions to make life on the road more comfortable. Some things for consideration; a couple of comfy folding chairs for using under the awning or visiting fellow campers, a quantity of old bath towels for using as floor mats when both you and the dogs have been on wet grass, a low folding stool to use as leg extentions to get to the back of those top cupboards and also makes a great side table between your couches for your cups of tea, a rubber mat to put on the ground outside the door to help reduce the amount of grass and gravel getting carried in on your feet. Drain, flush and treat your water tank annually with a food safe disinfectant such as hydrogen peroxide (food grade). Their are a million other tips I cold give you after having had motorhomes here in Australia for 15 plus years. You will enjoy your camping life. Gary

Hi Fran And Rich, we did a similar thing 9 years ago having cruised the whole system over 38 years. As we were getting towards 70 we felt there was so much else to see, bought a motorhome and have not looked back, using sites to pitch up you see much more than just travelling to a hotel or similar. One suggestion we would make is get a sat nav that you can put your van dimensions in, it saves a lot of stress of ending up in country lanes! There is so much to see in this country but when you have a chance the Outer Hebrides are stunning and would really appeal to you both.

Oh I like Percy. Looks so cozy and comfy and so, so easy to keep clean. Hubby and I did camping with a travel trailer for several years and we looked at it as our "home away from home'. what a nice little van, it will be just like driving a car and you will have your home with you. We had boats for 25 years then switched to a motor home and then a trailer(caravan). You will love it. Congratulations 🎉. Great RV. It is so clean it looks brand new. I have a self built camper van and I love getting out on the road. I live in Arizona and we have government owned land that you can camp on for free, very similar to a continuous cruiser, you can stay 2 weeks, usually and then you have to move on to another location. My van is not fancy or even that great of a build out but it’s cosy and I have everything I need to enjoy nature and traveling. One tip: make a list of all the things required for leaving your current site. Put hoses away, all cords you might be using, secure and lock all exterior doors, secure awning etc. Use the checklist Every time you head out. It really helps to not have any issues as you’re driving down the road. ❤ Congrats again and safe travels. I’m really looking forward to what you get up to in your new, beautiful rig. ❤
