I recently stayed at Fontainebleau with my wife, and we had an horrible experience. The room only on the 5th floor despite our request for a high floor. The room had a broken door and broken lock and did not secure properly. We requested maintenance 5 different times before they finally showed up and resolved the door issue. The TV did not work properly and their customer service was mediocre at best. All these problems for $400 per night. Hotel was beautiful and offers many different luxury restaurants to eat at. Overall, Would not recommend this hotel and would not stay here again.

Hi Turn it up world. The bow tie suggests iconoclasm of an Old World sort, a fusty adherence to a contrarian point of view. The bow tie hints at intellectualism, real or feigned, and sometimes suggests technical acumen, perhaps because it is so hard to tie. Morris Lapidus, the hotel’s architect, included many interesting design elements like the curving facade and the “Staircase to Nowhere.” But he also left his personal signature throughout the property: bow ties. Not only are the tiles on the floor of the lobby shaped like bow ties, but so is the pool.

If you want a luxury vibe there are plenty of other places to stay on the Strip that are much cheaper. You could have had a bigger, nicer room in the Venetian/Palazzo or Wynn/Encore for less than the $618 you paid for one night. Everything in the Fontainebleau is outrageously priced. The very fact that you ate in the food court proves that there are no reasonably priced dining options in the hotel. As for the food court, I happened to have eaten at Capons and Miami slice about a week after the hotel had opened. For whatever reason, the prices were actually higher when I was there. The cheapest slice of pizza at Miami Slice was $8 then, not $6. BTW, I'm from New York so I know what good pizza is and the pizza they served at Miami Slice was awful. It was paper thin soggy dough with almost no cheese. Oddly enough I also had the chicken sandwich at Capons and it too was terrible. It was completely overcooked so the chicken was dried out and the crust was like concrete. When we walked through the registration area on our way in and then again a few hours later on our way out there were no guests checking in or out. The entire place was like a ghost town. As an untested property they have clearly shot themselves in the foot by positioning themselves at the top of the price market. There is no shortage of luxury rooms and high end restaurants available elsewhere on the Strip so I don't know why anyone would pay outrageous prices to stay in the Fontainebleau.

If you do spend a lot of time in your room, wow are you in the wrong city - try Fresno. There are PLENTY of other options on and off the strip that give you a superb room at half that rate and more, especially if you use their gaming card or various online promotions. Use the "found" money at the tables, slots, bars, or some of the best restaurants on planet earth. That rate for that size of property is not a business model that is sustainable. My thoughts on this. It looks like they tried to copy off Cosmopolitan with the chandelier lobby. I’m not into this vast sprawling expanse of a resort. The cost of the room is insane. I’ve seen much nicer more expensive looking rooms for less $ than this. I’m going to keep staying at the Cosmopolitan for it’s small walking distances, overall quirky artsy vibes, great restaurants, a soaking tub with a view of the strip, balconies overlooking the strip, and a relatively cheaper cost per night.

Too expensive for us, but I love the place it's very beautiful and luxurious, maybe if i win big!😂🎉❤

Just wondering how the Hotel can charge a resort fee when the pools etc. aren't even open yet.

Believe many of the pools are closed during winter months and they still charge you a resort fee. It’s a strange practice but it common here in Vegas

Undeniably elegant but way too pricey for me. We've had wonderful times for 20+ years at reasonable costs and I am so happy we did because Vegas is going crazy today. Nope...not going to happen for us. Walk-through should be nice tho. 😊

did you stay during the week or weekend? that's to much for me. I paid $300 a night at encore where I stayed for 2 days. the year it opened up. next time I go to Vegas want to stay at the Wynn. keep up the good videos !

California King beds are longer and more narrow than regular king mattresses. I love this video though ❤️

It’s a very beautiful hotel, but it’s not worth the stay unless those rates go down I’m all for luxury, you can stay at the Venetian, the Palazzo, the Cosmo the list, go on and on for cheaper than that.

Is it just me or did I miss the info regarding parking prices.
@TurnItUpWorld10 ай бұрын
At the time of this video it was FREE parking. Which is why there is no mention. Believe on their website, self parking is complimentary for guests. If you are a silver member and above, it’s also complementary… if not first four hours are free and then you’re charged $20 from 4-24 hours. Valet is on a whole other level! 🤑🤑
