This was so healing to me ❤especially with the new year right around the corner and so many health goals to consider

Thank you so much for talking about this. I feel like a lot of women/people assume that if we're "skinny" that we must not struggle with health/body issues. But for the past 15 years, I have struggled with my thyroid and kidneys from having kids. After each kid, my thyroid broke down more and more and made it hard to lose the baby weight. Then at one point a couple years ago, my dose was way too high and I randomly lost 30 pounds causing my new doctor to think that something else was wrong. So we played around with my dose for a year and finally found one that helped level out my weight. I used to never care about my weight, accepting that having kids was going to change my body, but I had no idea it was going to be that kind of change. I've never gotten into pilates but I was in dance back in high school so I have these stretches etched in my brain that I still do on a regular basis to keep my body loose because yes, the struggle is real with tension in my back and neck. Aleve also helps with that inflammation and makes stretching easier. I still don't focus on weight but just on being as healthy as I can be for my kids. And trusting God to open my eyes and ears to what I need to change in my diet and exercise. Especially now that I'm homeschooling and working two jobs. It's all about balance and making time for ourselves. Even if it's just to take a nice long hot shower to refresh and reset. 💚🙏🙌
