Here's my first real Vlog with the Hero7 Black. Let me know what you think. do you prefer Vlogs where I talk about stuff I'm reviewing or just getting stoked on the trail?

Hey dude, something I've noticed with my riding especially when solo is that my first run is almost always the quickest. Maybe not the smoothest but I know I tend to obsess a little on close shaves and near misses and as the ride progresses, they tend to have an impact on my confidence. Compounded of course when acknowledging a crash on a trail like that when solo could be bad. Looked sick though and your riding has definitely progressed a heap since we last rode 3+ years ago. Yewwww🤙

Very cool, I just watched your other video on the MRP ribbon. I have to agree 100% that thing is a pain to set up and the initial support is lacking, it blows through the first half of the travel fast and ramps harshly in the second half of the travel. I also have a good amount of sticksion in the first 5 mm or so after that the fork does what it should. I am going to convert to coil and see if it treats me any better. Ihave 20 or so rides and over 100 miles on that fork and it just wont break in for me. I should have just got a 36

Great content man, easy sub. One tip for the GoPro, take it off auto white balance. It's pretty clear to see the colours shifting all the way through the video. Just use native what balance or a something around 5500 kelvin.

hey good to see sydney mtb people - you should go all the way up the red hill road to the top - its punishing uphil but at the top is insane looking quarry its all red amazing for bit of youtube vlogin as its like riding on mars and has some great features rocks and hopapble berms etc -- than - well you get to ride all that firetrail / 4wd track down to the DH start

Thanks! I will have to take a look up there. I will be going back soon once the gravity enduro trails are finished being built. It looks like they might be getting a pump track there too, which will be awesome!

I have the MRP ribbon air. how do you like the coil and should I convert to coil?

I will be doing my full longterm review in the next month or so but In short, the coil is 100% better. I honestly didn't like the air at all but the coil is up there with best on the market. I found the air way too divvy regardless of the pressure, it was also a bit inconsistent. I gave up way too much of its stroke too easy. Not in a plush kind of way tho. It was weird. The coil fixed all the issues. Awesome support and small bump compliance. I'd go one spring higher than what mrp recommends tho. Give it 3 rides to bed in before making any judgments tho. It improves drastically over this period.

@@fico4u around about 200usd for the kit plus spring. Id also order some seals as well (might as well do it while youre there). Plus I'd say about 150 bucks to install or about 50 if you did it yourself
