Hello dr. What if my dog chihuahua always icthing her eyes ..and the next day i saw her bottom of eyes red and little wounds..What should i do?Do i need to go on vet?

Hello Dr Alex my dog Arnold has discharge from his left eye i wash it several times a day I have been doing research and I have come up with either a allergies or conjunctivitis because his eye is red and has the ol yellow looking discharge I'm going to try to get him in the vet they are booked up he has had this problem for a long time it's off and on the troubles with his eye..

Hi David, with the yellow discharge and redness I'd worry that there could be an infection or even an ulcer so I would suggest keeping the eye clean and trying to get to another vet if your normal vet can't see you in the next couple of days

@@OurPetsHealth Dr Alex, I have a dalmatian. His right eye is producing excessive tears and it remains close sometimes and he scratches his eye with his paw . He does not have a running nose or anything. His other eye is perfectly fine. What should I do????

There is little I can suggest other than see your vet I'm afraid. I can't make a diagnosis for a problem like you are describing online

if it's not causing problems then it can just be conformational depending on their breed. Just try to keep it clean and the skin dry - especially if there are any skin folds
