Wife and I are leaving on July 1st.23 Getting off Amtrak in Whitefish and heading south as far as I can make it. I ask myself how many people can sit and watch a guy ride a bike on a gravel road this much but we hare loving every minute. Were from this part of the country and the bears are always on the back of the mind and beautiful to see in the wild. My thoughts are, Your safer in bear country then in a car. You have a great attitude fella. Soak it up out there! Sruly Orge. 2.2 tires. Redfin Suspension seat post and stem. Been such a great rig for 6 years now.

New to the channel. Love it. What kind of bike do you have? Im trying (still) to convince myself to get a mtn bike and try BikePacking. Getting tired of the pavement. Not sure how ill do camping alone though. Certainly wouldn't be able to sleep in that bear country.
@TravelingThru2222 жыл бұрын
Sup Mike? Welcome to the channel, thanks for watching. I’m riding a Surly Krampus on the divide, full rigid. I’m sure you would do fine camping, just bring what you need to feel safe. I’ve been traveling and camping since I was 17, sleeping anywhere comes pretty natural to me with no fear. I’m generally too tired at the end of the day to worry about anything. Dive in, the time is now. Let me know if you have anymore questions. Thanks.
