When I have issues with out of office I try setting them up on Outlook Webmail. Since the action is literally happen on Microsoft Servers it tends to be more consistent.

You can change more things to be shown in finder under properties. This does help get that My Computer feel.

Sadly this isn't available and if you need to make a copy you could always use the web client by logging into office.com. Very sorry I'm not sure why they don't have that.

Does anyone know how to add insert a calendar to an outlook email on a mac? On PC desktop from a new email you can go to Insert, drop down menu, calendar and select which calendar from outlook you want to attach. It then attaches the calendar as well as a line by line look at the calendar in the email. Thank you!

@axiomtech, Hello guys, checking maybe you know some solution to resolve this concern. I got a Mac computer and installed Outlook App, everything is fine aside from this two issue's: 1. When I try to move an inbox mail to an Archive folder, it will push through but the mail in inbox still show up. 2 When I try to reply to an email, my message still tag as draft even though mail successfully sent and received. Your response is really appreciated.

I found it disappointing that outlook doesn’t support Mac’s Share Menu, where you select a file from finder, (or picture from photos) click share icon and your default email client. It works on apple mail (obviously) but also on third party email apps like Spark. Has anyone figured this out? Also every time I switch countries I get an annoying “time zone change” notification from outlook 😕

Does anyone know how to change a meeting time if you were invited to a meeting? Sometimes I can only attend 30 minutes of an hour meeting, but new Outlook won't let you change the time. It's beyond frustrating to not have control over your own calendar.

You can't change a meeting if you didn't create it. But, you can send a request to change it to the creator of the meeting.

Hi .. like your video .. I have this problem and I need some help: I am running outlook for macbook pro 2016 and created a number of local folders."OnMy Computer". I want to copy one or more of these folders to a Dropbox folder, After some digging I managed to find out the location of the local folders: /Users/username/Library/Group Containers/UBF8T346G9.Office/Outlook/Outlook 15 Profiles/Main Profile/Data/Outlook. However this folder contains many folders and shows numbers and not the names of the folders. I wrote a perl script to do the copy, and I created and know the Dropbox destination folder but cannot figure out the exact path of the local folder. Please help!! Thanks a ton!

Alan, how are you trying to share the calendar? Several reasons this could happen. First it could be you don't own the calendar but you have access to it. For example a resource cal for vacation. Second it could be blocked by your admin so I would check with them as well. Third it could be you don't have the correct Office 365 license

Thanks for the great content in this video. I have a question that I cannot seem to find answered anywhere online. In the Mac App for the Outlook Calendar, is there way to change the default calendar increments from 30 mins to 15 mins like you can do on the web application?

You should be able to hold down the mouse and drag to the amount you'd like the appointment to be. It should automatically drag in increments of 15 min. I hope this helped!

the new outlook for mac removed "mark as complete" the function that puts a tick after flagging a message, do you have a solution or work around for this?

Sadly this is a common requested feature update that as far as we know hasn't been completed. Perhaps try using the Outlook Webmail as an alternative. We have video's on using that as well.

Yes the Mac version does have the GAL (Global Address List) and should be searchable.

You can use the native Mac screen snip Command + Shift + 4 and save to word document and print it. You can also print respect emails. Hope that helps.

It seems that all the functionality is not available on the Mac side and you have to go on the on the Web online instead. Would you say that office 365 works better if you have a Windows PC instead of being in the Apple ecosystem. It’s probably what Microsoft wants.

It is definitely easier to use a Windows PC but a great way around this is using the web apps for all Microsoft products. You can use all Microsoft products like, Excel, Word, Outlook and more on your browser. I hope this helps!
