Audi E-Tron | The Weird Stuff

Kyle goes on a quick overview of some of the weirder options in the all new electric Audi E-Tron. From massaging seats to interior fragrances, there are some really cool features on this car! Which one is your favorite?

Kyle forgot to add two of his favorite quirks! A built in toll pass so you don’t have to have it stuck to your windshield. You enter in the details electronically and the e-tron takes care of the rest! Also, the 360 camera for tight maneuvering is fantastic. Not unique to this car but still a great touch

Kyle thanks for the e-tron review. Forsure Audi has the best ICE to EV conversion car to date. Legacy car makers have come a long way from the S10 pickup conversion I owned.

Agreed! 50% more range and this would be a serious consideration to a Model X especially as the Electrify America network is getting built out so rapidly.

I just subscribe and I love the way you do you’re review and that you actually go and test drive the car on longer road test it give you a better sense of what the car really is to live with . I just watch the smoking tire podcast on U tube but I had seen some of your older videos like the drifting model S .

My favourite odd feature of the E-tron is the front hood vent.

I do love all of the luxury features that this car has, but all of those touch screens really show a lot of fingerprints and glare.

Does the e-tron have a remote or smart phone app that lets you turn on AC before entry to the car?

Beautiful car, but the range/efficiency info. I've seen thus far is disappointing and those touch screens placed so down low requiring you to always take your eyes completely off the road is a terrible idea. You can learn where buttons are by muscle memory. You'll never been able to do that with flat touch screens. Both screens should be moved up at least 5-6"

I totally agree about the efficiency. The battery is the right size but it’s a thirsty beast! We’ll see more real world numbers when we take it on a big road trip. I actually didn’t find the screens to be an issue, you got some haptic feedback to make sure you hit what you wanted to hit (adjustable strength). I’m a fan of these screens as opposed to buttons as you can’t software update buttons BUT I do see both sides of the argument. - Kyle

An inflatable spare tire, they’ve been used for years to fit in smaller cars.

Hate to make the same comment on this video as I did a previous but the audio track seems to be from the camera's on-board microphone as opposed to the lav mic that Kyle is wearing. This car looks nice and I'm glad more nice EVs are coming out. Definitely out of my price range though...

The outdoor clips are from the lav, but for the in car the lav was rubbing against something so resorted to the camera (which still has a backup external mic but not as great as the lav especially as it’s directional) We’re glad more great EVs are hitting the streets too!

Great car but and it’s a major but, it can’t really do 200 miles in the real world . The next gen sub 35000 dollar cars all can do better by far . Audi needs more efficient motor or more battery
