Love the way Deepti describes looking back on good moments with people who have done us wrong in life. I really feel like this will change my perspective and mindset of how to process things. I’ve always found it difficult when you have fond memories with friends people who ended up not being a good friend but this has taught me it’s okay to look fondly on those because at that time I was also a different person x

Hey I actually work for a Jet's franchise, lol. I can tell you a couple of reasons it costs a little more. First, I show up every morning, hours before opening, and make the pizza dough from scratch. Your typical pizza chain does not do this. Also, our cheese is ridiculously good. It's really fresh mozzarella, that we also grate ourselves. It's not that low moisture part skim mozz that you buy in a grocery store. They also pay me pretty decently. I was surprised by the fact that I've been working in offices for decades, and this has been more money and more enjoyable. I've lost weight because I'm not sitting on my butt all the time like I used to. I'm really happy with it. Anyways. I know I'm just rambling about a throw-away comment you both made. But there you go. I love you both. Take care!

Other ways someone could get a "bad edit": 1. People naturally have good moments and bad moments. Editors can choose to not show any of someone's good moments. As a result, the audience forms an opinion that this person is just pure awful. Every time we see that person, they are saying or doing something bad. 2. Person 1 can say something very hurtful and escalate a situation, and then Person 2 can respond with something hurtful back. If the first part is edited out, it may look like Person 2 instigated the situation and said something hurtful out of the blue.

Also they can manufacture scenes to show a person reacting negatively to someone else unfairly, but they were actually reacting to something else eg someone rolls their eyes playfully because of a joke that was playfully directed at them but they are shown to roll their eyes at someone walking in or just existing

On the cuties situation just based off that scene, I think Zanab was projecting a lot. I recently rewatched that season and think she had a lot of self-love to do because why would she feel the need to ask her fiancé to rate her. She spoke a lot about her age in a negative way and even set the scene for Cole to comment on her looks without makeup on.
@joanna0988 Жыл бұрын
Yes and she was also nitpicking at him from the moment they moved into the condo.
@racheljane_ Жыл бұрын
For sure. What it seems like is that Cole isn’t the most mature person behaviourally, and maybe says some things without really thinking about them too much, and that’s really his main flaw. Whereas Zanab’s issues go much, much deeper and she was fishing and looking for any reason to find he didn’t accept her so she could be the victim and paint him out to be a monster. It was pure projection.

On the cuties scene… agree with Deepti that it’s not simple. But the scene definitely showed that Cole wasn’t the monster Zanab and the other girls were exaggerating him to be in that particular moment. Also if you listen to Zanab share examples of other bad things he did, a lot of those moments are on the show and you can watch the context. For example, she told one interviewer “he called me fat” and when the interviewer asked for more details it was the scene on the beach where they were talking about fattening each other up with fruit. And when she implies he’s racist it’s when Cole says “we’ll go see your people” meaning her friends and family. Zanab doesn’t have any big examples other than what you see in the show and you can watch the context… the cuties scene was her big receipt.

Natalie, if people are seeing any ‘zits’ as I called them back in the day- they are looking waaaay to closely. You are so completely lovely and any blemish is not noticeable - and the adult acne is real, every month (you know what I’m saying) I’d get zits and within days they would go away. Super annoying 😅

I can't get behind Deepti's thoughts about the cuties situation because of the way Zanab told the story, it felt like she purposefully made it bigger than it was. When she retold the story notice how she changed her tone, she made it seem like she was talking to him calmly and that he spoke down on her but during the clip she was immediatly rude to him and he was the one who ended up concerned. She also left out when she said "is that okay with you" which was super aggressive and set a place for an altercation to occur (even though it didn't, Cole almost seemed clueless to her aggression). I definetly think Cole did say a lot stuff that clearly cause doubt on her end, so it's possible to her it was that way, but the way she told the story it just felt very calculated to make it seem like it was all him and I don't think she thought they would play the clip for the viewers
@victoriaemerson-ds8du Жыл бұрын
Her attitude towards Cole through most of the season was condescending and mean… I don’t think Cole realized how little she thought of him until she eviscerated him at the altar. Cole did some stupid stuff, but wow… Zanab was vicious.

After 10 months of isotretinoin i was finally free of it but was left with many scars that could have been avoided, if I had started the treatment earlier. It was not an easy process but I would do it again because it was so worth it for me. I suffered every single day, was depressed, was hurting, had no hope because nothing helped. I know that I’m 4 months late to the party but I wanted to comment about the lawsuits and allegations of not protecting and keeping the cast safe; I absolutely think that on a legal and financial standpoint that there should be extreme concern about these complaints. I think everyone forgot about “Megan Wants a Millionaire” and how a cast member murdering his wife put an end to that show before it even finished airing and it stopped the “I Love Money” franchise. The Jasmine Fiore and Ryan Jenkins case completely obliterated the possibility of any more of those VH1 love and contest based shows and that even if you don’t consider the morals and ethics that should be applied because these are real people and you owe them the decency of keeping them safe and stopping potentially dangerous and harmful (including emotional and psychological damage and not just physical) situations from occurring as basic human rights. If you look at it purely from a financial standpoint, I’m guessing that a lot more money would have been made if they had done a better job with their background checks. I know Ms. Fiore was not on any of the shows and that Ryan did not meet her from the VH1 franchise/cast and it’s possible (although doubtful IMO because of the events that led the two to actually meeting and getting married) that he would have murdered and mutilated her body even if he had not appeared on either show; Ryan being affiliated and participating in “Megan Wants a Milllionaire” and “I Love Money” S3 was the reason why those shows abruptly ended and were never aired and adjacent shows in the works or already produced were canned. Basically, there should absolutely be concern about the contestants because even if they have 50 different seasons already filmed, they aren’t going to be aired if anything really tragic happens or someone is able to prove that there was negligence involved. Just my two cents!
