Not sure if you're still reading comments on this video now, but it would be really great to get an update on a non-tier 3 build now, after the last big patch made us all so much more squishy. I still can't get past CT12 at this stage.

I put bleed on my gun instead of chains and then got rid of toxic lead and put vampiric mag. Seemed to fix my issue.

Dude I was struggling so hard with my Technomancer, pretty much thought I wouldn't touch it again. Currently farming the rest of the gear, but I can easily take on high world tiers now thanks to this guide. Great video!

Glad you made this. Every other video is showing how to beat CT15 with gear you mainly get at CT15. Nice to see someone getting this to work with only tier 2 modes and basic weapons.

Just like on Division you have not let us down with outriders, playing on console is tougher to get crit than PC and you always are delivering outside the box builds. Thx for the help!!

I think emergency stance has been fixed now, but is still a great mod. I think the buff goes away after 4 seconds like its supposed to.

I was lucky enough to get the legendary with killing spree as my first legendary drop after killing the chrysaloid. i have specced my techno pretty much exactly like you have except i haven't upgraded the earthborn renegade AR yet. Since it has bone shrapnel, I reckon I will upgrade it and then put killing spree on it too. Long grind to upgrade it from level 10 to 50 though!! Booya!

I've used exec same mods on progress except I've picked Scrapnel skill as well as tree node which give you another boost to damage on use instead of very 1st weapon leach node

wow it shows how much I have been missing out on. Though how do you have so much health? Now I am only starting Expeditions but I am only at 8k health with somewhat decent gear.... Now sure what I missing out on with that. My same struggles with Outriders as I did with Div 2........ I am garbage at builds. Thanks for the content and recommendations. For anyone who is struggling, you can get a free amber vault from canyon of the grand obelisk, which would give you access to killing spree, which is one of the best tier 3 damage mods in the game. Just another "budget" option.

From what ive seen all your budget builds use ES which makes them viable pre-fix but after the fix its not gonna work anymore

Im using stand tall and freezing boost as opposed to those toxic piercing mods u have and im also not using dum dum bullets as im using two defensive mods and I cant complete a ct 11 expedition to save my life even tho my builds optimized and almost every passive is god roll. Im also using an AR with bone shrapnel and the mod that makes frozen enemies explode. At this point idk what else to do. You optimize your build and its still not enough. I could take off damage absorber and put on dum dum bullets but thats really the only other thing I could change.

Excellent video and helpful for new players, ( putting aside for the moment the huge negativity and failures currently operating within this game ). My question is that after completing the main campaign, I often play Expeditions with random matchmaking to grind for gear. After completing several Expeditions I don’t seem to be getting any new Class Skill points to use to improve my class or character. How can I earn new points ?. I am currently stuck at CT11, but when gear drops from a higher level than i currently have (so e.g. lvl 46 instead of lvl 43), then I equip it and change 1 mod. What I should be doing is focus on the 3 stats from the gear piece and keep upgrading it every time I get to a higher CT level?

If you are running top tree Techno and not able to clear CT11 solo, I would ask how many sustain mods you are running on your build? Even with no Tier 3 mods, you should have more than enough damage to melt that CT level.

The only mod that I really disagree with here is Death Chains. As an old, slow, console player limited to a controller and not a PCMR, Mouse and KB, FPS content creator god, here's my problem with it: Mobs killed with Death chains will not trigger Toxic Lead. As a middle-gear Technomancer that has trouble in co-op content getting killing shots to keep my magazine filled and Blighted Rounds up, I do not want to compete against my own gear too. I would rather see something like Anomaly Enhancement which adds Firepower, or Resistance breaker which makes the AP rounds hit harder. Even Critical Point adding to my crit chance in my sloppy 'spray n pray' console style. These play more "into" the build instead of "against" it. I'd recommend Crematorium if I wanted more CC (which a techno doesn't really need). And since Techno's have a lot of freeze CC available to them, I'd recommend IceBreaker as a second Bone Shrapnel type mod.

Not speaking for Buzz but i think he’s buying or finding blue gear with one of the mods he wants and the attributes he’s primarily looking for. Then by upgrading to purple you can still replace one of the three second mods you get to choose from. That’s one way - happy hunting!
