And in place of the cocoa powder I used 1/3 cup of vanilla flavored Kachava but also added 1 Tbl of cocoa powder. No icing just ate them plain. Delicious

Some stuff I learned as a beginner: don’t use almond flour. Aluminum foil for donut centers doesn’t work bc if they’re too light, they don’t stick to the bottom of the pan. Use a bottle cap or small cookie cutter to make the holes. Measure the coconut oil extra carefully bc it comes off strong. (less is better than more.) By the stars, don’t bake the donuts for more than 10 minutes. They cook incredibly fast, so don’t multitask beyond washing dishes. If your oven tends to be too hot, decrease 350F to 325F. Thanks for the recipe! My finished donuts are Frankenstein muffins, though.

Made these last night for the whole family. They were so sad because they wish I made more. This taste like the best cake chocolate donut you will eat in your life. My oldest which is picky didn’t even know it was made from all whole and fresh ingredients. He thought for sure I had sugar, butter and dairy in it. I used almond milk instead of yogurt. Came out perfect. I used the leftover frosting to make cayenne and pumpkin seed chocolate. It was so delicious 😋 not wasting chocolate 🍫
