Thats pretty cool Man! If you went this far you could fibeglass the inside and out using a fiberglass cloth and it would be really strong and impermeable to liquids as well! I bet the cats enjoy running through the door lol

Honestly i could you could just use epoxy or fiberglass resin over fresh canvas ...anything that absorbs resin would work.

Hello, and thanks! 🤓 Fiberglass sure would offer superior quality. This setup only costed me about $40 and serves the purpose I need it to, which is what led me to using it. In the future, I will likely make another version with fiberglass. Then I could paint match it to the vehicle, as well!
