An overnight Kayak Camping Trip. Starting from the Cutwright Marina on Lake Monroe, we paddle 2-3 miles across to the Charles Deam Wilderness where two friends backpacked in to meet us.

Just found your channel. Nice video. Your buddy made a nice tarp there. Hanging in a Dutchwear hammock now. We like kayaks too. Take care, Al

Thank You!Actually, I use a JVC Camcorder to do most of my filming. The GoPro has a wider lens and is much better in wet conditions. So, on most trips I use a combination of both with a lot of editing.I'll look into shooting a short Video on my camera gear.Thanks for Watching!

Nice trip. Loved the snake footage!! I see the water is still up from when my group went down in August. I posted video of that trip on here if ya want to check it out. I really liked your campsite. I have never heard of Patton Cave. Where is that at exactly?

Thanks, it was fun. There's more snake footage coming!I'm not sure the exact location. You take the south trail out of the Horse Camp off of Tower Rd. Follow it back 2 miles to the creek, cross it, then bushwhack north up the ridge. I don't have the coordinates.Thanks for Watching!

why a kyak than a canoe?
@TrailMedic9118 жыл бұрын
I chose a Kayak because I wanted to do moving water (Rivers & Creeks) as well as flat water (Lakes). Weight and easy of paddling were also factors as well. That being said I am toying with the idea of trying a canoe because of easy in & out and more room for gear. It would also allow my Dog to go. But, for now a Kayak it is!Thanks for Watching!
