@nj4442 don't agree with haven't won "anything". All we wanted was for the devs to set aside their hubris and see how well the game works with different formats (including 6v6). Now they're testing multiple of them. And obviously the community reception is pretty good from the beginning of the tests. Let them continue to test every idea of different formats they have without sticking to 5v5. That's a big win for the community. And side note I really like min1max2 and I'm pretty sure 222 will be great too although I'm not sure about the min1max3 one. The community is VERY happy with the test announcements from the channels I've visited. Except some 5v5 advocates like youroverwatch. If we listened to the 5v5 crowd we wouldn't have gotten any of this.

I’m still butthurt they got rid of scatter because they could have simply decreased each micro arrow’s damage so he couldn’t one shot tanks. I hate Storm arrow because it makes Hanzo far too linear and at the end of the day, if Junk can still kill people around corners, so should Hanzo.

I'm so excited for this, I stopped playing back in April but I will do everything in my power to play everyday for the next 3 weeks! Triple jump/8 second blade genji is back, crit turret form bastion is back, the content we are going to get from creators alone is going to be more than what we could have expected and we get a chance to play it for ourselves again, with no good games coming out in so long this is truly a godsend

Recently, I've been going back and watching the "FARMING JAY3 ON DOOMFIST" days, and even though OP brig is in the game and double shield was in the game, DPS doom was still able to pierce the abilities of the OP sustain in the game, such as uppercut on bap out of imo, punching sig out of grasps, burst damaging a misplaying hero, or something like. All that to say that the game just looks more fun back then, way faster paced too (especially with how fast ults generated), and I just miss the old days so much because the skill ceiling was way higher then because if you misplayed just SLIGHTLY, someone in the top tier could actually punish you for your poor positioning or cooldown management.

I think they're gathering data with the new playerbase for each era of OW. Which helps give 6v6 a fair shake in terms of how they balance it, but also puts a factual stake in the arguments for 6v6 vs 5v5. Since they have current 5v5 data, this fills the hole of "well 6v6 would have done better if they balanced it like x" or "that would have worked back then, but not with our new playerbase". Especially relevant with the queue time argument. I think it's pretty brilliant, especially since "classic" game releases typically do pretty well. Free hype, free data, win win.

I think a lot of support players arent going to enjoy this because they'll feel bad getting dived by a tank with bubble. Granted good positioning in a fight can mitigate it but supports in OW2 have so many immo and get out if jail free abilities that dont require you to be as aware so i think it's going to be an adjustment for them. That being said I'm so pumped. OG OW had some dumb stuff but it felt so good. Mass res was annoying but you could play around it and predict it. I'm so hyped.

dva and reaper are going to be unplayable. Dva can't flash dm, no missiles, her ult takes forever which she can die to as well, and I believe her boosters are on a longer cd. Reaper gets easily headshot when teleporting, he can't heal off damaging anymore, and he can't cancel wraith. Looking back, it's crazy how bad these heroes were.

@ I don’t think you understand. She was probably the worst hero on release. One of the first heroes to get a major buff because you are just taken out of the fight every time you dm. Her ult quickly became the worst when people learned to take cover. Reaper is so easy to track and pressure out it’s a joke. I don’t think our knowledge now will make them better. If anything I think it would make them worse.

Goats was 3 tanks 3 supports. Mainly brig and bap as the backline for their AOE heals to keep tanks like Orisa and Sigma alive. Very hard to break through and could take minutes to actually win the fight. 2cp is 2 capture points. It's kinda like control (koth) without the map switching. You fight for one point and then go for the 2nd. The hardest part about 2cp was 2nd point because defender spawns were literally touching it so the defenders had a massive advantage. Different maps had different struggles as well, anubis had a tight choke, horizon had a pretty Unbreakable high ground etc. It wasn't perfect
