I live on the other side of the world, but 20yrs ago I lived in Oxford. Watching this video of my memories, it seems so real, as if I could walk down Woodstock Road, turn left into Leckford, and I'd be home again. So amazing, but an aching sadness assures me, it cannot be. Can you take me to Leckford Road? Thanks, take care.

I used to live at Radley which is about 5 miles from Oxford. During my spare time I walked those streets for ages (especially the smaller ones). Still feels a bit like coming home ☺️

I lived in the Banbury Road between 1981 and 1986, and worked in St Aldates. I ended up as a computer consultant at Boots the Chemist at the time when home computers were popular. In a past life, when I was Bishop of Lincoln I paid for new flooring at Lincoln College. My portrait is still there. At some stage I need to come and see it, I have only seen photos so far.

I say, rather good, and I preferred this to your other Oxford walk for the less intrusive music :) Oxford academic ( retired )marooned on the other side of the planet, so appreciate these gentle walks. As a Merton College alumnus, it would be nice to see my old college on some future tour. And, as a historical note ( if I may ) when I was an undergrad/post grad in the 1960/1970`s all colleges were either exclusively male or female - the transformation to bi-gender colleges occurred over some twenty five years, and not without some resistance from time to time ! Very well done though, excellent camera work and a nice walking pace :)

At this precise moment I'm about 8 mins into your Oxford video. I can see already that its nice place to visit. We were thinking of going for a break 18 months back but decided against it and went Windsor instead. The videos I saw on youtube weren't as appealing as yours. I think now we will go there, perhaps next year.
