Great episode. Why is the FDA taking action before the drug companies? The drug companies have more information and data! And if the FDA is taking action i bet this is only the beginning considering the very well known "revolving door" between the FDA and Big Pharma.

thank you very much. I believe we will learn more over the coming years about the link between GLP-1 medications and serious gastrointestinal issues such as gastroparesis. The Ozempic lawsuit should help draw more attention to this issue.

This presentation exposes the kind of corporate malfeasance that demands accountability. Those harmed by Ozempic deserve not just compensation but a system that safeguards the wellbeing of every citizen over unchecked profit. I hope your message and impact reach far and wide.

The other day I was at my small town pharmacy picking up my medicine, and there was an Ozempic AND Mounjaro commercial playing on the corner flatscreen TV from one of those doctor's office channels. While waiting, I made small talk with the lady next to me about my business doing marketing for lawyers and how my clients are currently suing the makers of these drugs. Just then, her order ready was, and she looked at me and said, "This is my refill for Ozempic right here," and held up the paper bag. Whoops! I wasn't embarrassed or anything and neither was she, but it did make me think about how prevalent Ozempic use must be, considering a commercial was playing at the same time I was talking to a lady buying it. I would love to know how many Americans are on it.
@dolmanlaw7 ай бұрын
I think the risk is worth knowing about. Novo Nordisk and Eli Lilly should have placed warning labels about the risk of stomach paralysis from Ozempic, Wegovy and Munjaro. Failure to warn is the key allegation in the Ozempic stomach paralysis lawsuit.

I’m currently going through testing for severe gut/abdominal pain, bloating and nausea. It started about 4 months in to using ozempic and has continued since I quit using it about six weeks ago. I’ve had major episodes of sudden low blood sugar, was hospitalized and had dangerously low magnesium and potassium, which at 66, I have never had a problem with in my life. Endoscopy on Thursday and abdominal CT Monday to hopefully see what’s going on. Oh and very high lipaise indicating pancreatitis.

What are your thoughts in regards to the pros and cons of using Ozempic vs being severely obese. For example, my mom signed up for Mounjaro, but her weight was a concern. Since taking it she's lost weight. Thoughts on the risk of taking this even understanding the severe side effects?
@dolmanlaw7 ай бұрын
it's tough to say and I am probably not qualified to answer that question. I would defer to a physician. With that being said, I believe there are many benefits to Ozempic and mounjaro (very similar drugs) and losing significant weight.
