I'd rather save that classification for Rock musicians in the top of their class. Gillan, Bonham, Shenker, Dio, and other superstars. Unless you're talking strictly about how drugged up Rock musicians were/are, in which case, I suppose you're correct.
@absolutetuber
@absolutetuber Жыл бұрын
@@ronan82 well, it also depends on *what* you consider rock & roll to be. is it a lifestyle? is a style of music? is it a state of mind? in early rock&roll pianos and certain brass instruments were the lead instruments. given that, none of the "superstars" you mentioned are rock&roll. is rock&roll about writing riffs and songs that stand the test of time and attract millions? if thats the case then ozzy definitely fits the bill for being one of the ultimate examples of rock&roll. music, its genres, its influence, its artists, and perhaps most importantly, peoples definitions and opinions of certain music, genres, influence, and artists are not black and white. ones man's music can be another man's fingers on a chalk board. so who gives a shit if ozzy was drugged up...just like the artists you mentioned, his songs are still played 40+ years later!!! hell yeah, thats legendary!!

@@richardkey4289 remember when Osborne did Bark at the Moon? That was the most close album to match Diary of MAdma5, Rhoads was the best but remember Lee cause he was faster, better than Brad Gillis, Tony Iommi anyone but Rhoades, zake could never play with the precise speed and passion of Lee on Bark at the Moon but no one could match Wilde on Miracle Man. In closing l feel Ozzy should bring all guitarists at different segments on final tour just like KISS will, all these guys are ready to perform last huraa,make money and make us happy at same time, In 5 more years metal will die as we remember it in heyday of 80,s etc. I cherish my Bark at the Moon tour jersey to this day at 48 years old, Ozzy Rules!!!
