I'd rather save that classification for Rock musicians in the top of their class. Gillan, Bonham, Shenker, Dio, and other superstars. Unless you're talking strictly about how drugged up Rock musicians were/are, in which case, I suppose you're correct.
@absolutetuber Жыл бұрын
@@ronan82 well, it also depends on *what* you consider rock & roll to be. is it a lifestyle? is a style of music? is it a state of mind? in early rock&roll pianos and certain brass instruments were the lead instruments. given that, none of the "superstars" you mentioned are rock&roll. is rock&roll about writing riffs and songs that stand the test of time and attract millions? if thats the case then ozzy definitely fits the bill for being one of the ultimate examples of rock&roll. music, its genres, its influence, its artists, and perhaps most importantly, peoples definitions and opinions of certain music, genres, influence, and artists are not black and white. ones man's music can be another man's fingers on a chalk board. so who gives a shit if ozzy was drugged up...just like the artists you mentioned, his songs are still played 40+ years later!!! hell yeah, thats legendary!!

Most people don't know the meaning behind this song, they think its about him being insane or some shit like that, but its not, its really a touching song, and very positive actually.

I think you don't know the meaning of the song. Its about the Cold War. Whats touching or positive about that????
@nomad15173 жыл бұрын
@@Annihilation_0f_The_Wicked9066 I'm aware of that. But in the lyrics while he does talk about the insanity of the war, he also wants peace. He sees the shit that's happening and it's driving him mad. It's really an anti war anthem. That's why I said it's positive.

My last OZZY show was in Denver it was his 2nd to last one before all of his medical issues sidelined him from his tour. Hope to see him again for the ordinary man songs.
