Just found you-I'm 65 and in need of strengthening my overall health. I completed P90X and Insanity 6 years ago and now am mixing the two to jumpstart my return to fitness 'excellence'. I have read much of your work and I appreciate your thoughts AND the posted 90-second videos as referrel guidelines-take care and stay well.

Well, yes and no. When you go through the exercises again, put the back exercises before the chest exercises. I discuss at the links posted above.

Thanks Dwayne. The best thing I can recommend is to subscribe to the P90X playlist on my channel and have a bookmark for it. Good luck!

@jhempel24 First off, thanks for the beast comment :) I think each body is different. If you find the wide stance awkward or cumbersome, then go with the closer stance. I'm short, so closer works better. It really shouldn't impact your workout. The wider stance is probably a bit easier because it requires less balance than the closer stance, so I'd argue you might get a better workout with the close stance.

jahlove111 > it depends where you're starting from. I was pretty strong prior to starting the program, so it didn't take too long. However, if you are just starting out, give yourself a few weeks to start feeling like you are getting each phase.

I actually do 12 - 15 reps of each exercise and don't rest in between. You want to max out the muscle as much as possible.

@bblumenthal Thanks for the quick answer!! I'll have to do the closed legged one...the wide stance was hard and it hurt, took a while to walk out the kink in the leg. Thanks again!!

Quick question...on the Dive Bomber thing, they are doing it with a wide leg stance...you do it closed leg...do you get the same workout? I pulled my hamstring doing the wide leg, and if the way you do it is find, then I want to use that for the next one! Oh, and you are a beast at this lol.

It actually is for the back, there's two different exercises that look similar in form but are performed differently. Shoulder flys and back flys. The back fly is what she's doing. For shoulders you would pull higher up not so low.
@Greg2911 жыл бұрын
This is only half the workout, you repeat doing 2,1, 4,3, 6, 5, etc.

sorry but the last exercies is neither for the chest or the back it's for the shoulder
