Well, there is a difference between being private about something and being ashamed of it. I really dont see a point in sharing your privacy to strangers. I mean that's her life, she can do what she wants. But what she did it not better nor worse than being private about private things. It's just a decision every individual can make for themselves.
@maneskinnnnn71904 жыл бұрын
@@LL-wu5ui yes cos women have to be ''private'' about their sexuality, but men don't. Got it!
@LL-wu5ui4 жыл бұрын
@@maneskinnnnn7190 Who told you you have to be private about that? Also, many people think that talking about jerking off (men) all the time is disgusting. What's up with the world? And whats wrong with being private? I dont want to know how often you masturbate or have sex. If you have a group of friends who like to talk like that, that's cool and you do you, but assuming EVERYONE wants to talk about it is extreme. Even if everyone around me was talking about that 24/7 i still wouldnt participate, because that's a private matter for me.
@sheryaarahmed14704 жыл бұрын
LL nah it’s more so that she’s teaching her audience that being proud and unashamed of female sexuality is or rather should be the norm. We all know the same degree of ‘embarrassment/private-ness’ isn’t applied to masculine sexuality and jade is trying to reach a level of equality which is commendable 👏🏻

that chat you had about the fear element kicking in right before you go even though you KNOW it's gonna be a period of growth/exciting city/new opportunities ect, you just can't help but feel down in a way that doesn't really compare with anything else? It's such a strange and deep unsettling feeling. I'm about to move countries for my second year of uni too and I am experiencing EXACTLY this. Worrying about my cat/comfort zone and leaving my fam in such an uncertain time. I just know that you're going to thrive in Berlin though! And I will thrive in my year of uni too (i hope). When Jade was talking about being excited for something but then hestitating when it actually happens, I related to that so much. I'm that type of person who wants to do new things etc but then when it actually happens I question myself and I'm like "I can't believe this is actually happening" because I actually can't believe it's happening. I wanna stay in my comfort zone but I know that nothing comes out of being in my comfort zone. So I've decided that from now on I am going to do things outside of my comfort zone because that way my comfort zone will grow even bigger. I'm an introvert so I do prefer to be in my own space by myself after going out.

4:12 that is so normal! Especially the day before you go and when you are packing it is so normal to all of a sudden feel you feel like you don’t want to go at all. Right before I left for my foreign exchange year to the us I felt the exact the same way, and then when I was there I had the best time ever and then I felt the same way when I had to pack to go back home. I think no one likes leaving, especially when you love your home and your family, so no matter how big and amazing you know your adventure is going to be, leaving still sucks. General German series reccommendation: Der Tatortreiniger... I dont know how hard it will be to understand it, but subtitles in English while the audio is in German would be a great first step.

Thank you for your openness, especially about your beliefs, because it is not easy to talk about! And yes every single human and their religious beliefs should be respected, no matter whether Muslim, Jewish or Hindu!

Loved the deep chat, I can really relate to your insights on it! I also love gospel music as well, so beautiful, uplifting, important wisdom/life lessons and deeply spiritual (even if you are not religious).

I went to Istanbul to study for four months, just like you. And I also got this feeling of anxiety right before I left. I knew it was a huge and alien city to me, and there I was, going all alone, didn't speak a single word of Turkish, and wasn't nearly as sociable or easy going as you are, Jade. Don't worry, you'll be fine. The worst thing that happened to me was a near car accident in the taxi on the way from the airport to my dorm, that was a close call as the taxi driver lost control over the wheel and swirled accross the highway. Crazy start of my trip!

@zez'e Oh thanks, I loved Istanbul, but it's a long time ago since I was there. Would like to go back some day. Amazing city!

before lockdown, i definitely had no strong beliefs in God- I'm a natural sceptic. But I think the serenity of lockdown really allowed me to tune into my spirituality; I found an amazing online church community and my belief in God is definitely growing. I've never had so much faith before and it's genuinely so calming and humbling. You really should try it!

I truly believe that the anticipation period before moving is the WORST part, once you get there, even if you are not 100% content, you feel so much better that at least you are there

Can't wait for this video, you're uploading so many good ones recently! Btw, I'm trying notion thanks to you, Jade! The more you let yourself be vulnerable and try to grow the more it inspires people like me to do the same, too - thanks for all the care you give us in making these videos.

Hi! I just wanted to say as a Christian who's struggled with my faith in the past, that it's totally ok to not know where you stand. I think it's beautiful how open you are with talking about religion and how you see the beauty in it when I feel like nowadays society only sees the bad in Christianity (honestly sometimes rightfully so). Anyways I know that this video was posted a while ago but I just wanted to let you know that wherever you stand today, there are a lot of people who care about you and whether you believe it or not, God loves you! ❤

Jade, I was EXACTLY like you when I was about to start my year abroad just over a month ago. Ngl, for the first week I was there I was missing home like mad, even though there are very few things I love in life more than travelling and I knew that deep down there was nowhere else I wanted to be than in Italy! And congrats on fitting everything you’re taking in such a tiny space, I only took one suitcase and my Kanken on my year abroad and it just makes everything SO much easier! 😌

Jade I need help! My friend thinks she isn’t enough and I find myself feeling the same sometimes. Could you make a video about that please? We’re both in sixth form and are doing 4 A levels. Maybe it’s the overwhelmingness idk

Dont forget noone is always happy and its okay to be sad. Everyone is sad sometimes. Noone should strive to be always happy. Only with time can you accept yourself and once you do, that feeling will mostly go away. Good luck amd stay strong;)

Always remember: you are inherently valid and valuable and deserve to be content without doing anything. That doesn't mean you can't strive for a different life, it just means that you are enough and deserve to be at peace even if you are doing nothing. I hope you and your friend feel better soon, life is full of ups and downs though so please don't feel pressured to force yourself to be happy. I'm sorry if this comes across as condescending! Sending good vibes your way 😊✨ Good luck with the A Levels, you've got this!!💛
