Even those who are being safe can be taken out. You're never really safe as long as you're handling them. If you have a massive 16 foot malaysian king cobra, being "safe" (using a hook) is more dangerous than other methods.

@VroomVixxen23 күн бұрын
@@matth7856NO! Absolutely not, this experienced reptile keeper loves all his animals no matter what species and it clearly shows in not only his love for them, how clean and neat he keeps them and their enclosures but above all the never wavering complete and total respect he has for all of them. It’s incredibly ignorant of you to make that assumption and shows us how very little you know about this man’s content, his beliefs as an owner and how inhumane he and the veterinary community see this practice. Snakes need their venom for their over health and survivability not just protecting themselves from potential predators and taking down their prey. Their venom plays a large role in aiding their digestive system as well. Please don’t be so eager to make such ridiculous accusations and assumptions when it’s clear to most of us you are clueless or simply trying to pretend you have any knowledge about this man and his beloved snakes.

There have been no Inland Taipan snake bite deaths, even here in Australia (since antivenom was developed in 1955), because they are very shy/cryptic and avoid human interactions. And the few people who have been bitten have all gotten antivenom in time.
