I agree, but I'd say a group of boys do maintain a certain amount of distance while conversation. I only time I've seen boys come in contact is if they are involved in some sports activity or if they are drunk and sharing their thoughts 😂

When I went to Mexico (San Quintin, Baja California) I don’t remember experiencing any culture shock only because the charity group I was going with we met for months and were given lots of information about what to expect and watched videos of where we’d be staying and working for a month, etc. However, I have studied French in high school and had only a semester of Spanish before going (interestingly my college Spanish teacher was from France and the reason the college put me in beginner Spanish instead of advanced French was because only myself and another person signed up for it and they don’t do classes of just two people). I remember having a conversation with a young man in a Spanish-English mix. He’d speak English as much as he could and I spoke Spanish as much as I could. I remember feeling very confident because things were going so well and we were really understanding each other. He asked me what I had eaten for lunch and I went to tell him I had eaten cake. Except that my brain forgot cake in Spanish and remembered it in French and I used the French word. Of all the words to mix up between Spanish and French that’s got to be the worst. I didn’t even notice I did it and he didn’t say anything and we just finished up the conversation. However, the group’s translator was laughing so hard!! She came over to me and between trying to stop laughing and breath, she was like “why did you say you ate cat for lunch?” And I said that I didn’t say that! And she said “You said gato and that means cat.” And that’s when it hit me that yep I did indeed say that. I told a guy in Mexico that I ate cat! OMG! Spanish: gato means cat. French: gateau (pronounced gato) means cake. It became a bit of a running joke thereafter anytime someone in the group would see a cake they’d be like “oh look there’s one of your cats!” * I should note I was young and often had like a candy bar and soda for breakfast, ice cream or cake for lunch, and didn’t eat real food until dinner time which was usually around 7-8pm...which was later than I was used to (I was used to 5-6pm), but that was normal there. Not healthy I know, but I wasn’t the only one who ate like that in the group and the hotel we were at was right next door to a small shopping center that had a bakery, candy store, ice cream shop, and taco shop as well as a place that sold piñatas and a store that sold international phone cards along with mobile phones and other small electronics (radios, alarm clocks, small televisions). Great video! I love this channel!

Wow ha ha! Well I'm sure he thought he was experiencing culture shock, "Well I guess they can eat cat where he's from..." One of my friends was talking in Spanish too and instead of saying she was embarrassed she said she was pregnant (the word for 'pregnant' is similar sounding to the word she thought was 'embarrassed') Anyways, here's to delicious cats!

Like Chantelle said,south Africans most likely distance themselves because most of us are hot-tempered,so it's really a culture shock because if that were me i would've trip because I would want an apology. Meaning for trip:it's when you get really mad. Just for those who don't know the meaning.

Cultural Shock is always one big thing. I'm a extrovert and easily talk to strangers , initiate conversation and make friends. I'm the odd one out in my family because of this nature of mine. Once I traveled to Middle East for a short vacation , I was always on my toes. Before doing anything i have pause and think whether it is accepted in this culture. I was cautious all the time about the way I speak because i don't want it to be offensive. It is tough. BTW I really enjoyed this video. It was funny and I was laughing the entire time. Good way to start my day.

Yep, definitely entertaining, imagining Sam saying oppa and Walter's failed hug/high five 🤣🤣🤣🤣 The body bumping that Chantelle mentioned, I wonder if it's just a matter of the city population density? Yeah, like John said, maybe it's the same when you're used to living in a relatively smaller city/ less densely populated city... I haven't been to Korea so I can't quite imagine it, but I was very terrified and anxious the first time I stepped foot on Shinjuku Station, on a morning rush hour 😱 I wonder if it's the same in Seoul? Door man Sam, I've been there, done that, and not even in another country 😅 it wasn't something very common here in Indonesia, and I usually do that just so the door wouldn't slam on the next person's face, but at that time behind me were a group of rich looking aunties that just walked past me keeping the door open for them without even a glance or a thank-you and I remember thinking "wow, riches can't buy you manner" 🙊 Walter, why is your mask keep slipping down 🤣
@IceMetalPunk
